Cozy (and a bit loud) stay with family

The apartment with two separate bedrooms was perfect for our family group. The apartment has everything you would need for preparing meals, cozy evening playing games as well as resting after whole day of skiing. Ski bus stop is 1 minute walk from the apartment. The first ski bus arrives at 8:23 however it takes approx. 20 minutes to get to Saalbach (Schattberg) with one change, so if you want to take a first cable car up at 8:30 there, most likely it won't happen.

The dishes were not clean (most likely due to dishwasher not cleaning them very well), therefore we cleaned them all before using them for the first time. Furthermore, (and this is not really a fault of the property): Underneath us, there was a group of men guests which came home every night at 9:00pm and started playing loud music until at least 11:30pm. First night we went to politely ask them to turn the music a bit down around 11:00pm, however the night after the same happened and they played the music until 11:30pm. Last morning, they played a really loud song at 7:00am, however we were already awake. We did not contact the property to ask them to be more quiet, but because our interaction with them did not really help, I would recommend to try to ask property for help.

you can ski to the house straight from the slopes and access the ski-lift on skis

location: the house is super conveniently located - just 150 meters from the ski-lift (you can walk on skis to the lift in the morning and come back from the slopes straight to the ski depot (which is at the back of the house with easy access and plenty of storage space). We were in the smaller apartment, which is in the back of the house and is very private, so the fact that you have a big apartment on the front of the house was not an issue at all, plus we had our own private space and we could easily access walking paths and the slopes. The bus stop (should you wish to go Saalbach) is also pretty close and very easy to access (also on skis straight from the house if you want). Inside the house: The house is clean and the kitchen has everything you need (coffee machine, pans, etc... I do not know why they put so much emphasis on the microwave oven in the pictures, but yes, if you have not noticed there is a microwave oven and it is working). The room with 4 beds is really cozy and nice. The living room has a small balcony from which you can enjoy the view or check if the ski-lift is working ;) There is a small shop 100 meters away where you can buy basic things (milk, brotchen, butter, salami or pasta) and order a pizza. Bigger shops (SPAR) are 10-12 minutes away by car. So be ready to move your car from time to time.

the main downside of the apartment - and I want to be clear - the description of the apartment is not false, maybe just a bit misleading, is the fact that you basically live on 3 floors... the small bed room (2 beds on the pictures) is located on the ground floor, while the big room (with 4 beds) and the living room are two (yes 2!) stores up. You will see on the pictures the long staircase... and it really is like that. We tried to imagine that before coming but it would help if the description was a bit more precise (so I put it here: the small bedroom is on the ground floor, the big bathroom with the shower and bathtub is on the first floor (on the right hand side on the pictures of the staircase) and the living room/kitchen and the big sleeping room as well as a microscopic toilet are on the second floor (on the top of the staircase). It is not a problem if you understand that before coming. It is somehow mentioned in the description but in the section "facilities" ;) So for instance, I would not recommend this apartment to families with really small kids or with a dog that is scared of stairs. Otherwise it is a really nice place, especially because of its location. At the end, you come here to enjoy the slopes and the mountains and less the house, so in winter, if there is snow in the valley it is definitely the right choice.

Overall excellent stay and we loved the location.

Comfy beds and lovely bathroom with lots of hot water. Apartment was very cosy with good ski room. Excellent location for village and ski bus and easy parking. Wifi worked well.

The sofas needed more cushions to be really comfortable. The one in the photo looked better. Keys were easy to collect but you need to make sure your mobile phone is charged on arrivals day as key code is sent after 4pm.

Tágas, jól felszerelt apartman Zell am See közelében

Győnyőrű természeti környezetben elhelyezkedő, tágas, jól felszerelt apartman, ami elegendő férőhelyet biztosított három nagy család számára is. A konyha jól fel volt szerelve eszközökkel, a szobák tágasak voltak és legtöbbhöz külön fürdőszoba is tartozott. Az apartmanház mögött hatalmas zöld terület és játszótér, ami különösen előnyös kisgyermekes családoknak. A szállásadó kedves és segítőkész volt. A partnercég sajnos nem küldte el időben a Sommercardokat, a szállásadó segítségével sikerült 1 felvonót igénybe vennünk, de sajnos nem tudtuk kihasználni a kártyát a tartózkodásunk alatt teljes mértékben.

Disappointing stay with insects, noise, and unfair accusations after departure

إقامة مخيبة جدًا للآمال. العقار يعاني من انتشار شديد للحشرات، ولا توجد شبك على النوافذ، مع ضوضاء مستمرة من “Top1” وأشخاص يلعبون كرة القدم بالخارج. بعد المغادرة، تم اتهامي زورًا بإتلاف أو فقدان جزء من جهاز التدفئة، رغم أنني لم أستخدمه أبدًا ولا أعرف طريقة تشغيله، وكان الجو حارًا طوال الإقامة. الاتهام تغيّر من “إتلاف بالطعام” إلى “لوح مفقود”، وهذا غير مقبول. تناولنا الطعام في المطبخ فقط، وكان يُنظَّف باحتراف بعد كل استخدام، ولم يدخل أي طعام إلى غرف النوم. تركت المكان بحالة ممتازة، لكن هذا الادعاء الباطل وسوء التعامل أفسدا التجربة. لا أنصح به إطلاقًا.

Very disappointing stay. The property had a serious insect problem, no window screens, and constant noise from the nearby “Top1” and people playing football outside. After checkout, I was accused of damaging or losing part of the heating unit — despite never using it, not knowing how to operate it, and the weather being hot the whole time. The claim even changed from “damaging with food” to “missing panel,” which is unacceptable. All meals were in the kitchen only, cleaned professionally after each use, and bedrooms never had food. I left the place in excellent condition. This unfounded accusation and poor handling ruined the experience. Not recommended.
