arrived on one of the coldest days of the year, the heating was off, admittedly the thermastat is easy to operate and brought the place upto temp fairly quickly, but as its a hive this could have been done prior to arrival.

Very modern and comfortable. Excellent comfy beds, very quiet location and only 15 minutes from Durham. A little TLC but overall a fantastic apartment. We will definitely return.

The beds were extremely comfortable and everything worked as it should
It would have been nice to have had a towel in the bathroom for drying hands, and a tea towel in the kitchen. A mat for the bathroom floor would have made it safer as it was quite slippery when wet.

Good location for park and ride into Durham and one junction down for Beamish Museum, excellent value as you get a full sized apartment on a ground floor, parking was right outside the front door / private car parking area.
On entering the property we were hit with an overwhelming smell of multiple air fresheners (plug in type) we presumed to hide smells, they do take dogs so possibly that was the reason. We switched them all off and it took 24 hours for the smell to dissipate, after which we couldn’t detect anything that required covering up, maybe they just like air fresheners. There was also a damp and dirty tea towel hanging from an appliance handle, but these were the only issues we had as it was a good sized apartment, clean/ tidy, lovely big modern bathroom, in short we would book it again.

The water tap at kitchen sink is cracked and sprays with little leaks . The door handle on living room is very loose. The drainage in the bathroom had a really strong smell had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times.

Lovely modern apartment, very clean and well furnished, great walk in. Shower, easy to find location, village kitchen along road great for breakfast. Parking and WiFi very good., would recommend if wanting apartment rather than hotel.

Quiet area, and lovely furnishing, which contributed to a restful stay. We loved the fact that there was a Spar right around the corner!
We found a cigarette stub in the cutlery drawer; also some food that had crusted over on the sofa. Needless to say we were then uncertain about how well the place had been cleaned. Had to wipe down everything and re-wash cutlery and plates.

The apartment is very quiet, despite the very busy A1 dual carriageway nearby, as well as a very big construction site building new houses. The apartment appeared clean on arrival. Parking is immediately outside, on a drive, and is very convenient. Beds were ok. Kitchen is serviceable, but note there are very limited utensils. The location was fine for us, and there is a nearby Farm cafe which is well worth a visit.
There are improvements to be made at the apartment. Access to hot water was a big issue, very intermittent, so having shower was not always possible. Furthermore, on arrival, we had to wash all the supplied cutlery in the drawer as it was covered with dried food. We never cooked at the property after this. The washing machine drawer was broken so we could not use it. The rug in front of the settee was full of dog hair and debris, which caused one of our party to require antihistamine medication. We solved the problem by rolling up the rug and placing it away from the seating area. As we were travelling with a pet, we also had to pay an additional £25 for a deep clean which was to be carried out once we had left the property; yet it was clear this deep clean was not carried out for us prior to our arrival. Indeed, the host confirmed this, yet when asked, he refused to refund the additional charge. There are other niggling issues and several have been raised with host directly. On reflection, we would not stay here again.

Location was good for our travel purposes. The flat was large enough for 3 of us.
Bed linen did not seem clean. Oven very dirty on arrival tins in oven needed thorough cleaning. Many items in kitchen drawers needed washing before use.
No instructions on how to use equipment/ recycle waste etc. Oven quite difficult to figure out. TV appeared to have limited number of stations and no iplayer

Location was good - next to a lovely green area, great for nipping out with our dog in the morning and at night, after our days out. The local Spar was 3 minutes walk away to pick up a few essentials. The tea, coffee sugar and milk was provided.
I took the key code from the details that were sent when we booked so I couldn't get in because they sent a new keycode when the property was ready. It took me 30 minutes to understand why I might be having trouble!

Great location close to the A690. Plenty of space. Good layout. Lovely bathroom with an excellent shower.. Excellent parking. Very responsive and helpful staff. Very clean. Would definitely stay again when visiting family.
The beds were comfy, although a little soft for me. Much better than some other accomodation though and in good condition. The rest are minor things that are not a negative, but would have made it a 10. No t-towel in the kitchen. No bread knife. No spare toilet rolls. No hair dryer. Also, a folder with instructions on how to use the tv/oven etc would be useful for an oldie like me lol. Also perhaps some tips on eateries/takeaways/things to do that are rated. As I say though, very minor things that would definitely not put me off staying there again.
