Weekend in Subotica

Perfect location in downtown Subotica. Never actually met the hosts, but both Tihomir and Nemanja were very accommodating and friendly on the phone. The place was clean and spacious, perfect for a family weekend.

The beds were too soft for us.

Good for a short stay

Location was great, a minute from the square! Lots of restaurants and sights very close by. Everything was easy to walk to. The area was quiet at night and felt safe. The young lady who met us, Ivana, was exceptionally friendly and helpful and also spoke English. The room was clean, and it came with tiny kitchenette. We stayed in an upstairs room with a balcony for 3 nights.

The bed was not comfortable for us! We felt the bed springs/coils through the sheet. The mattress was below the surrounding box and made it uncomfortable getting in and out of bed, especially if you are on the short side. The floor area leading into the bathroom is very soft from past water damage. We felt a little uncomfortable walking back and forth over it, however the owner was aware and assured us it was safe.

It is in excellent location, kitchen is well equipped, it’s clean and period house that has a good feel

Beds were more like sofas and for us a bit too soft. One bedroom didn’t have neither window nor air conditioning

Value for money, felt safe, convenient location and family friendly

Location is hard to beat - shops are walking distance and a playground is also nearby. Recommended for families. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment - one room with a double and the other with two single beds. The living room also had two beds. Spacious apartment that our 3 year old enjoyed. Ivana the cleaner was wonderful to deal with. Tihomir was responsive and offered great customer service.

Parking- you need to be confident in your skills as it is quite a tight fit, driving an SUV would be impossible here. Yard is always full but there will be paid street parking nearby.

easily the best budget option in central Subotica

I've stayed here several times and it's always very straightforward to check in, etc. The apartments are very close to the centre of Subotica and offer excellent value-for-money. It's basic accommodation but clean and central and the wifi-works, likewise the shower/toilet etc. Always my #1 option when staying in Subotica! (which I do pretty much every year.)

Nice clean cute apartments. Good shower, nice bad (a bit too soft for me, however really good). There was a small kitchen, however we didn't use it. Very nice small balcony. Perfect location - few steps from the city center.

Nice accommodation but non-existent welcome.

The accommodation has a perfect location, perfectly in the center, very convenient for visiting the city. It is spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Parking in the internal courtyard is an excellent added value especially if you travel by motorbike and need safe and visible parking.

Unfortunately, communication with the owners was not perfect. At first glance everything seemed fine but as soon as we arrived no one answered messages or phone calls. After a long wait, luckily the owner's brother arrived and, despite not working for him, he still helped us get into the room. It is an unpleasant situation when you are traveling and tired and need to access your accommodation. No one apologized for the mix-up, which for me was very serious, my score cannot exceed sufficiency.

It is an 'air bnb' and difficult to reach landlord as there is no one on site (we arrived Friday evening) - when we had a power outage, I had to use my UK mobile to phone them - they didn't answer.
