Parking a little tricky

The location of the apartment is fantastic: just 3 min from the main square with all the sights, cafes, restaurants, and shops. There is parking in the courtyard, but you must reserve it. The street is nice and green; it can be a bit tricky to find parking on the spot, and it is 450 RSD for an entire day (approx. 4 euro). The beds in the room are cosy and comfortable, and the room was pleasantly cool when we entered. The host is easy to reach by phone, and although not there on the spot, gives clear instructions on how to enter the room, provides the password and is easy to communicate with.

The bathroom, although it seems clean, smells of sewage when the fan is off (in order to sleep at night one must turn the fan off). Even though the room was pleasantly cool in the afternoon, we needed the AC to be turned on later, but we had to shut it down during the night because it was too loud, as this is a window AC unit. Keep in mind that you might need someone taller to turn it on. Very early in the morning, there were some women yelling in front of the door of the apartment, so it is not the most silent place to rent. Since we couldn't meet the host on check-in and had already made plans when he was available, we left the money on the table in the apartment – about 12% more than what was arranged by Booking, and to our surprise, we were left with no change. This would have been left for the cleaning lady, but let's hope she received the tip intended for her.

The accommodation has a perfect location, perfectly in the center, very convenient for visiting the city. It is spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Parking in the internal courtyard is an excellent added value especially if you travel by motorbike and need safe and visible parking.

Unfortunately, communication with the owners was not perfect. At first glance everything seemed fine but as soon as we arrived no one answered messages or phone calls. After a long wait, luckily the owner's brother arrived and, despite not working for him, he still helped us get into the room. It is an unpleasant situation when you are traveling and tired and need to access your accommodation. No one apologized for the mix-up, which for me was very serious, my score cannot exceed sufficiency.
