It is a magical place. Daniel was very helpful, and we got a very generous free upgrade. The views over the city of Rouen were wonderful both day and night. We are going to book again for a week later this year. The City of Rouen and the river are stunning. The eco rooms are quirky and a bit magical. My wife did not want to leave. Cleanliness was 100% amazingly well thought out. Very comfortable, with lots of light. Garage parking space was available for our stay. Very quiet outside space unique to every house/studio.. we just Loved it. We can't wait for our next visit.

The daytime parking in Rouen is a little difficult, it is better to leave the car, public transport is close by. Evening parking is easy and cheap.

Exceptional

The ambiance and the concept of creating a self-contained home setting in a relatively small space, which we absolutely loved. We had all the facilities and comfort needed for a really cosy stay, surrounded by wonderful gardens and the most breathtaking views over the city and beyond. Communication with the host was perfect and if you have any questions regarding parking, don't hesitate to ask, he is very accommodating. Location was just perfect for us, just out of the business of the city centre, in a very idyllic environment, but very quick and easy to reach the historic centre. Highly recommended!

A quirky little gem with great views across the city

The property is a very well thought out use of space. it provides a really quirky experience. it’s really compact and cute and has everything you need. For a small space the shower is lovely and large. The skylight above the bed provides, not only a bit of extra space, but a beautiful window to watch the stars at night and the sun rise in the morning.

A little oasis of calm

While accommodation is basic there is a lot to love about this accommodation. A green oasis in a city, with fabulous views and we had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The area is very quiet and peaceful but within walking distance of the historic centre where along with some spectacular buildings there are bars and restaurants to cater for most tastes. The host was most helpful in his email contact which was in both French and English and although not present during our stay had arranged for a local contact Nicole and also provided his phone number. Would definitely consider booking if we visited Rouen again.

The mezzanine bedroom although it is exactly as described and therefore no fault of the owner was a little too claustrophobic for us. Luckily the evening wasn't too warm but with no window and a fan that provided very little air it might be difficult to sleep on a hotter evening. However, this said, there appeared to be the option of sleeping downstairs on the Futon. The stairs might also be an issue for the less mobile. My advice would be to look at the photos carefully, including the height restriction in the bedroom and there should be no surprises!

Great little studio flat, with added bonus of a swimming pool. Good access to the station and 20 minutes walk from town

Great little studio flat with mezzanine floor for sleeping with an attic window to look at the stars! Shower room was large with plenty of hot water. Cooking and washing up all good, and lots of French tv channels. Great little swimming pool to cool off in the evening and outside with superb views across the city.

Nothing - it was amazing value for money. Thank you! If you have mobility problems, you might struggle with steep hill and steps but otherwise it’s fab!

Awful!

Nothing - the studio is very small and damp

The owner was strange, unfriendly and watched me struggle up the stairs with my bags! It was hard work climbing the steep stairs and if it had been mentioned before I booked on the front page (not in the other information part) I wouldn't have booked! It's dirty and damp and very small and claustrophobic. And the area is very quiet.. nothing going on there. And the room isn't connected to the glass house that is shown in the photos so it's very misleading. I won't be coming back here.

A room for the night with a great view, an en-suite and a kitchen that was decent value.

I didn't meet the host in person, but he seemed polite and helpful - he also thanked me for leaving the room in the same condition I found it, which I appreciated (and I'm sure he did too!). The location was nice, the room was good and the price was great value.

Some confusion on how to enter the property, that became clearer on arrival. Some messages that came through were in both French and English, which involved a bit of Google translation. But all in all, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it to anyone. I didn't have time to use the pool, but it appeared to be out of action when I arrived.

Quiet and personal service

I was greeted by the owner that tried to make me feel at ease straight away and took me to my room, He text me before, during, and after my stay to make sure everything was enjoyable, A very good personal touch, The swimming pool has a nice view. You have your own space in the garden to sit in. It was very quiet during the night, an absolute must to relax. The kitchen was full of all the condiments needed if I would like to cook.

L'emplacement au calme et la vue sur Rouen. L'ambiance jardin avec la terrasse. La cuisine bien équipée. La propreté des lieux.

Le couchage, je comprends l'esprit mezzanine plutôt sympathique, par contre juste un matelas posé au sol ,ce n'est pas très confortable. C'est dommage.
