The Plough Inn & Cottages

Lovely room, helpful staff and great food.

Fabulous stay at the Plough, a real gem & worth every penny. Quality & comfortable well designed & decorated rooms with clean crisp white bedding, towels & lovely extras. We had evening meal which was delicious great staff big shout out to Will who goes above & beyond to make your stay superb & also the young night porter last night too. Highly recommend & will definitely be back. If your visiting Open Air theatre the Plough offer a great service to residents with a shuttle bus to & from the theatre saves a lot of hassle, waiting & taxi fees 👍

Nice location. Loved the decor and how everything was set up. Had a fan / filter in the room which was not expected - made a massive difference. Staff were VERY helpful and friendly. Know all the local Taxi’s and will accommodate as much as possible. Breakfasts were fantastic. Did not even know I had it with my booking until reminded. Loved the Mini-bar set up - variety for anyone. Thank you again. Top notch!

Shame that I had to watch Scotland lose to Brazil 3-0.

Room was nice and cosy. However for what we paid we were put on an attic room so not the biggest. It was cosy but very cold in the night.

The banging base music that went on right below us until 11pm. The place gives you ambience of nice relaxed and chilled. Then you have banging music which doesn’t match what you’re expecting from a restaurant hotel. Think they’re trying to please too many people. Pick your target audience and stick to it would be my advice.
