    Great place to stay for one night, room did a job for a very good price. I had no issues at all. Basic, but just enough.

    For the money this was excellent. But on a whole the place is looking a little tired. Sheets and towels were technically clean but had marks on.

    Sorry Agoda,I seriously do not know where to start…the hotel small garden is totally neglected,overgrown and unkempt with litter ,rubbish and discarded children’s toys ..bench seats broken and rotting,definitely not a place to sit and relax.Very limited tight parking,entrance and stairwells really grimy with dirty steps and bannisters’leading to first floor onwards.The room was very basic and tired looking with stains on carpet ,mattress was stained and grubby but bedding and towel clean,the room looked out onto the internal aspect of the hotel which was home to the local pigeon colony ,we could see several room windows opposite within the quadrangle which hadn’t seen a cleaning cloth in years and the curtains were basically rags so the view wasn’t too cracking, we had to request a kettle as there wasn’t one,but to be fair one was brought very quickly,we had one mug and a small coffee cup so took it in turns for the larger cup !the shower hose needed replacing as water didn’t come out of the showerhead,again it was replaced quickly ,so in a nutshell really disappointing as the photos and description does not depict the true overall picture ,so glad we were there for one night only ,we were also informed by a local the hotel also accommodates asylum seekers…maybe true.. maybe not but not good for tourists who want to experience a break in what is perceived as traditional Scarborough hotel
