Great B&B. Located in a quiet area. Spacious rooms, well heated in winter and cleaned every day. Very nice and helpful host. Rich and delicious breakfast. Refrigerator with free drinks. If desired, you can book a sauna, which is included in the price. There is a spacious garage for parking.

Bert, our host, did everything to make our first visit to Befour comfortable and enjoyable. Consequently, we would always consider Befour whether en route to another destination or for a holiday in the area.

Excellent stopover

Easy to find and it has garage parking. Room comfortable, clean, quiet. Stroll to pretty town square with nice bars and restaurants. Very close to a lovely park. Hosting was excellent as was breakfast.

Reading the other reviews of this place, you'll see multiple mentions of the owner/manager, Bert. The reason is simple; the whole experience of staying at Befour is predicated on Bert's understanding of and commitment to hospitality at the highest level. That attitude imbues every aspect of your stay; the welcome, the parking, the room (clean, well maintained, well equipped) breakfast, his availability for questions and help, etc. I spend dozens of nights in hotels and b&bs every year. This place sets the standard to which I wish all others would adhere.

A real gem in the heart of Aalst.

This is a beautiful B&B which is extremely well managed. Breakfast was really tasty with a great food selection. The room was very spacious and had all the modern facilities. Free parking was also a real bonus. Location was ideal to visit Aalst on foot and a 20 minute walk to the station offered trains with comfortable travel to Brussels, Gent, Antwerp etc. The nearby Stadspark offers a retreat away from traffic. Would most definitely recommend Befour to enjoy the best of Aalst and other nearby towns and cities.

The location is in a beautiful center , the price of the accommodation i very reasonable and the host is really kind and knowledgeable about the city and can help with anything during the stay.

The beds are very soft and thick which makes them a bit uncomfortable for me.

Excellent room, very nice breakfast with a perfect host.

The room was exceptionally clean, roomy, well equipped with separate shower & toilet. The mattress and pillow were exactly to my liking and the bottle of champagne as a welcome gift (it was our wedding night) was a very nice gesture. The host went out of his way to help me find a parking space where I wouldn't be blocked the next day due to a braderie, and this at 3AM! The breakfast was plentiful, with fresh eggs & bacon made to the fashion we liked, on the spot, by that same, smiling host.

If I have to add one small point, nitpicking actually, I would've been great to have night tables next to the bed, to be able to accommodate the bottles of water that had kindly been provided.

Lovely location, quiet and very close to the town centre. The room was well equipped, spacious and stylish. Bed super comfy. The welcome drink was lovely after a long car trip. Host is super friendly and helpful. Vegan options at breakfast were SUPER :D. (plant based milk, cheese, yogurt and butter)

A lovely stay in Aalst

The facilities are modern, very clean and a nice breakfast is served. Drinks, including a Belgian monastery beer, are available for free in the fridge. There is also space in the fridge for guest items. An elevator is available for the guests as well The location is on the edge of the downtown area.
