The Gem is a little paradise corner and Janette is an amazing host. We felt like home and we loved our time spent there

A lovely house in the countryside, all of the upstairs was our private area with a bedroom with very comfy bed, separate lounge with refreshments, and shower room. Views across fields and a lovely garden. Janette and Rod were fantastic friendly helpful hosts. Janette came up in the morning at an agreed time with a tray of 2 croissants each, jam, fresh fruit, yogurts and we had cereal, tea, coffee and orange juice available.
Very convenient area for Rye, Winchelsea and the coast. Highly recommended

Very nice and cosy, with a lovely host. Continental breakfast was amazing and located right next to Winchelsea with lots of pub and restaurants to visit and old museums and churches to enjoy! Recommend!
