NORTHRISE RETREAT

Great place, comfortable bed and friendly staff. The e sauna and the hot tub is a nice add on. Breakfast had a lot of choices.

Darren the owner was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Beautiful atmosphere, clean and tidy. The sauna and the jacuzzi were a treat. The owners were helpful via message throughout and also very approachable during our stay.

Would be helpful to have a sink in the lounge area. Breakfast was a nice as well the facilities in the lounge including microwave, fridge and kettle with tea and coffee. An addition could be a sandwich grill/air fryer. Only suggestion is to add some savoury item. There was cheese and meet slices however could not have it as they were in the same dish and we weren’t sure if the meat product was halal, so would be helpful to have them in seperate dishes and perhaps label them. If the jacuzzi was a bit sheltered instead of out in the open it would be helpful especially for hijabis. We went in at night so it seemed alright but I would be conscious if there was camera and if it was during day time. Thankfully we were able to prebook to reserve our slot. We had to take turn showering in our room which worked out alright as it was just two of us and our room was very near the garden. However it would be tricky for people in rooms further down or upstairs. So showering facility near there would be helpful, I know it’s a big change but just a suggestion to keep in mind. And have a laundry/drier for the wet clothes please. There is a clothing line in the garden which were helpful however didn’t see it at night or our clothes would’ve dried overnight! The owner was very kind to let us leave in the sun from morning till afternoon and we could come collect it.
