La Musa

The property was beautiful, with a nice vintage style and really comfortable for four people (2 bedrooms with separate bathrooms).

The fact that the property did not have a hand shower holder in the one bathroom and the other bathroom had a really not easy to use bathtub (which is not shown in property photos).

Easy to access the apartment, contact with the host was excellent, providing us with all the necessary information. We loved the apartment and had everything we needed. Excellent condition, nice and quiet part of the city.

Everything was wonderful.

The location is outstanding. La Musa is situated on a quiet side street in Venice, surrounded by charming canals and excellent restaurants, while still being within easy walking distance of all major attractions. The main bedroom is spacious, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The air conditioning works very well, which is a real advantage during warmer months. The apartment also has a unique character thanks to its mix of antique and modern furnishings and its setting in an old and simple Venetian building.

Considering the price charged for this apartment and the fact that it is advertised as a two-bedroom property, one would expect both bedrooms to offer a comparable level of comfort and quality. This is unfortunately not the case. While the main bedroom is spacious, comfortable, and well furnished, the second bedroom is significantly below the standard of the rest of the apartment. The mattress is extremely soft and uncomfortable, the space around the bed is very limited, and the lights flicker constantly. The apartment also feels inconsistent in terms of quality and maintenance. While some areas are attractive and thoughtfully designed, others seem neglected and impractical. The antique furniture and decorations, especially the lamps, were covered with a noticeable layer of dust and did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly for some time. In addition, the electrical installations seem outdated. Some lights could not be switched off properly, which was inconvenient and raised concerns about maintenance. Overall, the apartment would benefit from better upkeep, deeper cleaning, modernization of the electrical system, and a more coherent approach to furnishing and design.

The locations is very good if you want to be out of the chaos of Venice and is surrounded by great places to eat and drink

The hosts blamed us for breaking the washing machine and refused to send our clothes back, that were stuck in the washing machine, until we paid for the postage costs. This totally ruined our whole experience, being blamed for something we didn't do and then having to pay to get our clothes back that we also had to do without for the remainder of our holiday. Very disappointing.
