Run by a Gurkha family, the evening meal in the restaurant was a very special Nepalese menu. Lovely food. The bar was excellent too.
Some communal areas were “work in progress”, but once funds allow, they too will be updated.

Very close to our event and the restaurant food was lovely. The room was very quiet seeing as hotel is on main road.

The location was convenient enabling me to stay near relatives. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable and the room had good heating for the cold winter nights.
The property is quite dated and in need of refurbishment. There is a lot of single glazing, which has been addressed with good heating but it doesn’t help block out the noise from the busy A48 trunk road outside, lots of fast/noisy traffic day/night. There was an odd ceiling fluorescent light in the room that couldn’t be turned off. Thankfully I brought ear plugs and eye mask, which ensured a good night sleep.
