Nice warm welcome from the host. Good breakfast. All facilities worked and the place was very clean. Very nice location in a small village close to the larger town. Secure and parking is no problem. Would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast start was 8:30am, which is a bit late for some as Spain is only 20 minutes away with a corresponding time of 9:30. Perhaps a 7:30am or 8:00am start would be better.

The property is stunning inside a beautiful renovation. The staff are really friendly and as we were the only guests we were upgraded to a larger room. The house was also like a living museum which was fascinating and we loved hearing about its history. We had breakfast included and they did accommodate us being vegan.
The WiFi/phone signal wasn’t great but for one night we managed and we couldn’t get the tv in our room to work.
The house is located in an area where there didn’t seem to be any local facilities and so we only stayed one night. We could have driven into Braganza though which wasn’t too far away.

It is a great house in a lovely village in a good strategic location to visit the surrounding
region. The host is wonderful and provided us with a welcome package including a bottle
of local wine and lots of useful information.
There are no shortfalls I can think of. As always there are a few little things of personal dislike.
