The location is both good and not so good, Being an old converted mill it's by a small river which is fantastic, unfortunately the weather was not in our favour so we couldn't make the best of that. The downside for location and this only applies if you are not travelling by car, but we were on motorcycles and the access road would be more suited to off road motorbikes, but once you get down there it's good, a word of warning park your bikes on the upper parking level as it's a lot easier to get out, as we found out.
The access road is not suited to motorbikes, but don't let that deter you from staying, Uber will pick you up from the top of the drive and drop you off for easy visits into town.

A lovely converted watermill on the outskirts of Braganca. Spacious rooms and very well equipped. Helpful and friendly owner. This would be a lovely spot for a summer break, right next to the little river. There are five rooms, three are ensuite and two rooms share a bathroom.
Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us, with snow and low temperatures. We needed to run the fire for the heating. The owner made us aware that if you run the electric heaters and cook the power can trip, so we had to be very careful.

Once we actually found this pretty restored old water mill, the location was idyllic. the staff were pleasant, helpful and provided a good breakfast.
The shower in our bathroom was dirty with broken taps and broken floor tiles.
Access is by unmade road then on to a very steep and twisty cobbled driveway.

Una casa muy bonita
Hacia mucho frío. Solo hay una calefacción eléctrica, que se interrumpe cada poco. Para reiniciarla hay que ir a 500 metros. Había una chimenea, pero no había leña.
El emplazamiento está muy poco indicado.
