Friendly host - great breakfast - comfy bed - room had everything we needed

The position of the residenza close to the city center. Very kind owner that provided practical info and trip tips for Verona. The breakfasts were very tasty. Especilly tiramisù.

The parking is possible in front of the villa, but the streets around are very tiny, so you need to park really close to the edge, but nothing that complicated.

It's a lovely quirky place and owner is lovely and helpful. She makes homemade jam and Turamisu for breakfast which is a nice touch. a good 20-25 min walk from main city attractions

Room is very small and air con didn't work too well.

The breakfast, particularly the cakes, looked amazing and we both enjoyed it. I'm vegan, so it's not unusual not to find much other than fruit and coffee but the bread, hummus, olives & tomatoes were a welcome find 😊 The owner serving breakfast was really lovely too. Early check in was granted and the location was good. Shops and laundrette 5 minutes down the road and a short drive to Verona. WiFi was also good.

The 'wellness facilities' were nowhere to be seen and we had extended our stay specifically to take advantage of the warm bath, jacuzzi and solarium. We found the warm bath but it was empty and in unkempt gardens. We couldn't see anywhere in the listing that it wasn't available at this time and I never received a reply to my message enquiry. The room was fine. Really good shower but no kettle or mini bar, although I found a kettle in the breakfast room and had my own coffee and sugar already. Perhaps just a misunderstanding from the room description but no one around to clarify. Overall, a mixed review so not entirely sure how Residenza Ca' Degli Enzi has the rating that it does. Booking.com hasn't ever failed me, in this regard.
