An idyllic lakeside haven offering perfect peace, convenience, and bliss.

I'm incredibly glad I chose this apartment over staying right in Annecy's old town. While picturesque, the old town gets overwhelmingly crowded and noisy during the summer. This place offered the perfect solution: incredibly close and easy driving distance to the centre, yet peacefully situated right on the lake with absolutely stunning, unbeatable views. A huge bonus for our road trip was the private parking spot – a real rarity and convenience. The property even boasts its own private beach and dock, allowing us to enjoy serene, quiet moments by the water without the crowds of public beaches. Location-wise, it couldn't be better: two restaurants are right next door, and a bakery and supermarket are just a short walk away, making meals and groceries effortless. Having bike paths nearby was fantastic too – renting bikes and cycling through the countryside was a highlight. Inside, the apartment was spotlessly clean and cozy. Crucially, it was the only place on our entire trip with air conditioning! During a severe European heatwave, this was an absolute game-changer and a massive advantage. Our host, Isabelle, was wonderfully friendly, responding promptly to any questions and even kindly providing free beach chairs. We spent several blissful afternoons relaxing under the trees on our private beach, completely unwinding. It was the perfect, peaceful lakeside retreat.

Lovely but brief trip to Lake Annecy

Very easy to locate, lovely quiet area with direct access to the lake.

Not much really, the fold down bed was surprisingly comfortable, but only s minor gripe that the pillows were not comfortable at all.

Fabulous location, needs updating.

The location having direct access to Lake Annecy

It looks tired and it’s tooo hot. On arrival the place was not clean, raised it with the owner and she came and hoovered. It still wasn’t great as there was so much black dog hair on both floors. Miss match of crockery and glasses, only two mugs.

Overpriced, Overrated and Misleading

The location

The air conditioner was faulty and making a noise The main bedroom had 10cm gap between the wall and end of bed The brown carpet was turning black in the main traffic areas The steep narrow stairs to the bedrooms would be impossible for anybody who was not fit and strong to carry their luggage up The kitchen area was not very clean I have photos and videos to support these faults as the owner believes her apartment is excellent We booked and paid for 6 nights and left after 1 night Found accommodation 50 away far superior and less cost Of the 40 Booking.com properties that we stay in every year, this is the first failure

A great place for a short stay. Would certainly return if in the area.

Brilliant location with balcony overlooking the lake and mountains opposite. The lake was right there for a daily early morning swim (and the water in June was not cold)! Easy to access from car park, using lift to 1st floor (my wife driving a small electric scooter). Apartment was comfortable if a little small, but we had booked a studio apartment (one room plus bathroom) for our 4-day stay, so that is to be expected. Convenient for driving into Annecy which is a beautiful city. We briefly met Isabelle who was extremely friendly.

As a studio apartment, we had to make up the bed each night, but this was no real problem. The fridge in the kitchen area was noisy, so did keep us awake sometimes when it started up its cooling procedure during the night. The car park can get very busy during peak times (for instance a hot June afternoon when we arrived).

Nice apartment with a wonderful view of the Annecy lake and a nice, spacious balcony to enjoy the view from. Close to a private (grass) beach where you can sunbath, swim or do water sports all day long. The apartment had dishwasher and washing mashine, which was a bonus for us. It was a short walk away from grocery store as well as a wonderful bakery. Just downstairs is a good restaurant (BEC) it you get tired of cooking.

You have to sleep in a sofa bed, which was ok for a couple of nights, but would have been uncomfortable in longer run. Dish brush and sponge were old and slightly disguisting, a new sponge should be given to each new guest, it is not so pricey... The towels were washed, but old and in need to be updated.

the location on the lake was ideal for swimming and enjoying the view of the mountains surrounding lake annecy. walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. the restaurant next door to the apartment was very good.

Ideal location if you want direct & private access to the lake of Annecy

The appartment is a few metres located from the lake of Annecy. Perfect to start and end your day with a dive in the lake. The view from the appartment is exactly as you see on the pictures (view on the lake and the mountains). You have direct access to a private beach and a nautic club to rent material (e.g. paddle board). There are 2 small restaurants (Bec, Wakpala) where Bec is the best one :-) An excellent bakery and small super market are on 250 metres from the location. Direct access to "voie verte" where you bike along the west side of the lake to Annecy and have connections to other biking routes.

The appartment is just bigh enough for 3 adults (even if it is advertised to host 5 people). To sit on the terrace with 3 adults was a bit of puzzling. The beds were quite terrible for the back (too hard, bad pillows) but to be complete, I'm used to sleep on a very good box spring at home with a soft mattress. The location is just next to a busy departmental way where you have a lot of traffic during the day. However you don't nearly hear the traffic in the appartment.

Cleaning equipment for the dishes dirty and if we want to use the dishwasher we needed to buy the dishwasher soap. Weak water flow in the bath.

Perfect lake location

The location was perfect, right on the lake, and within walking distance of a spar and bakery. Also a restaurant which could be seen from the balcony. Food at The Spinnaker was quite expensive, but good quality. There was also a paddle board and canoe hits 2 minute walk from apartment, which also had a private decked area with plastic sun loungers for La baie des voiles residents.

For a self-catering apartment there should have been an oven.

PERFECT INSANE TOP GENIAL

C'était vraiment parfait , parking privé , le lac a 2min a pieds et plage privée dans la résidence , deux restaurants à 1min donc 1 qui fait les petits déjeuner au bord de l'eau , la vue direct sur le lac , le village de Duingt génial par rapport à tous les autres villes assez moches et trop construite ( sévrier , St Jorioz ) INCROYABLE

Juste la literie un poils dur et les oreilles moyens , et la porte assez dure à fermer mais ça doit être nous ahah . Mais ce sont clairement des détails
