Fiona and Jim were very welcoming and friendly. Thornbank House was lovely. The bed was amazingly comfortable and there were lovely touches like fresh milk and water in the fridge and robes for the bathroom.
I just wish I could have stayed longer but we didn't have time. Hopefully we will be back again soon.

Excellently appointed, comfort, views, peace; able to completely relax. And as I was catching a very early pre-breakfast ferry, Fiona made me up a breakfast pack to take with me.
Squeaky stairs - haha, but not a big problem.
