Good location. Booked a double but ended up in spacious garden apartment with living room and kitchen too!

We loved the waterfront view. We chose a sea view room with breakfast included and it was lovely! The breakfast was delicious with a lot of choices. We would sit by the window with a glass of wine just enjoying that view. The location was perfect for touring the town on foot. You can walk to Dunskey castle from here and the restaurants and pubs are only steps from the hotel.
I would say the rooms are tiny and certainly had to watch your head from the sloping ceiling but that is the charm.

Beautiful situation on the sea front. Worth paying for a sea view. Breakfasts were excellent. Dinners were good. GF diet catered for. Lovely staff.
The number of stairs up to our 2 nd floor room. The small shower unit. Nowhere to hang the towels. The window didn’t open.

The hotel position is stunning & the food is very nice & very big portions.
We had our 2 dogs with us for an overnight stay at £52 but we were charged £30 extra for the dogs which I did not know about until we arrived. I asked what it was for as that is quite a lot considering the room price & size.. The girl said it was for specialised cleaning but as I stood on a bit glass in the room & picked quite a few bits up too it seemed a bit cheeky. The room only had a small bit carpet, mostly covered with the bed & parquet flooring so I don't think they can justify those kind of charges. I have stayed in multiple dog friendly hotels & never been charged that much. They need to state the pricing on the advertisements when they say pet friendly & not just say charges may be applicable !!!
