Very happy.

Warm welcome, lots of lovely touches like a welcome basket and milk in the fridge. View of the lake, close enough to take your paddle board.

It wasn't a problem for us but anyone with mobility issues would struggle with the stairs.

Quirky house by all positive means, so lovable :)

The host met with me, when arrived and give us a tour in this beautiful property, which looks like a museum itself, so atmospheric. The heating was not switching on in the master bedroom, and we had some issue with hot water but got help from the host within 15 minutes and was all sorted, it just shows how conscientious they are. Loved the house, will go back :)

Delightful comfortable cottage by the edge of lyn teggid with great hosts and wonderful views.

The property was homely, warm and cosy with lots of space to spread out. Kitchen had everything you could need. The owners Elari and Gareth were lovely friendly people and welcomed us with a hamper of traditional Welsh goodies and cream-tea upon arrival making us us feel specially welcome. The view from the porch kitchen and small bedroom across the lake was amazing and it was only 5-10 minute walk into town centre with lots of cafes, takeaways and bars to choose from. It was a great base to explore North wales by car. Everything in the accommodation was immaculately clean. Breakfasts at the adjoining cafe were really tasty, huge and great value for money. The bed was really comfortable.

Although not a problem for us the stairs to the bedrooms were really steep and could be an issue for people with mobility issues.

Lovely relaxing holiday in a cosy cottage with amazing views.

The cottage was cozy. We were welcomed with a cream tea and other goodies. There were good free Wi fi. Well equipped kitchen with a lovely view. Two bathrooms in excellent condition. Plenty of places to do walking. Bus stop near by if you want to leave the car behind. Living room and both bedrooms had good television. There was a room for playing board games and reading.l lovely

We loved our staying in this peaceful place and the hosts were delightful, so generous!

Breakfast was available at the cafe adjoining the cottage. Lovely food and coffee with nice ice cream available.

location was fantastic. Beautiful views of lake, Shops, takeaways, leisure centre in walking distance. Cottage was warm and cosy. Friendly hosts.

If traffic noise bothers you it is close to busy road, but hardly any traffic at night. The original stairs are very steep and awkward particularly coming down. Would be unsuitable for anyone with a mobility issue.

Had the lot - clean comfortable, spacious, well equipped, ideal location, friendly hosts. The cream tea and goodie box were a nice extra touch.

The stairs to the upper floor are steep and would benefit from a full length handrail.

Lovely weekend break. Frosty November ....some great walks in the surrounding area

Lovely warm welcome. Cream tea on arrival. The accommodation was warm and cosy. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of towels etc.

There wasn't much we didn't like. It is next to a main road so on occasions it could be a bit noisy!

Not a single compliant. INCREDIBLE!

Fabulous location, whole property to yourself with private parking and waking up every morning to the view of a beautiful lake and mountains! As a couple staying here, we couldn’t complain. Right next door to a lovely homely cafe ran by the owners and literally a 30sec drive/6min walk to a full town high street with other places to eat and shops including a shopping centre to get bits and pieces to cook back at the property.

Nothing. We didn’t have any issues, even the decor which some may say is dated. We believe it added character and fitted perfectly with Bala style in Wales 😊

Bala is beautiful, cottage was clean, cosy and relaxing, it was lovely to be amongst nature :)

Loved all the little touches, they made it feel very welcoming and a positive stay. Being February, it was lovely to arrive to a warm cottage, bed was so comfortable and lovely bedding, best sleep ever. Loved the views of Bala lake, we would return, thank you :)
