Overall the property was very disappointing!

- Locked out on arrival - Plumber here, left at 7pm - No welcome pack - One toilet roll in bathroom2 on top floor (up to 3 people can stay on the top floor) - Hot Water trickled out of bath tap bathroom2 - Lock on bathroom1 door broken - Smell from bathroom off Utility - Carpet under radiator in first bedroom soaking wet - Back yard very untidy, not pleasant to look out onto - Plasterboard in utility not finished, not sealed and skimmed - Bathroom1 gap in floor to the right of sink - Paintwork on skirting boards chipped, - No WiFi marked anywhere, head to contact landlord

Disappointed

There was a leak in the property which necessitated switching off the heating. Apparently this was only picked a few minutes before guests arrived, just after 4pm. There was water on the shower floor and dripping through the ceiling. The cover to the boiler switch was smashed which made that appear dangerous.A plumber was called and he couldn’t repair the issue. An alternative solution was found, in 2 apartments, but they consisted of 2 double beds and 2 sofa beds. Whilst the owners, who were away, did address the issue it seemed very last minute and given 2 of the party had mobility needs it proved very inconvenient. A phone call to the guests explaining and showing some empathy would have helped

Great location, parking permits on arrival

Leaking shower, property not overly clean, dirty throws on the sofa. No internet code sent onto us, Key code was incorrect delaying entrance to the property.

Great location, decent sized house, just in need of a little TLC in some areas.

The location was perfect. The immediate ares was very quiet but only a short stroll to the main High Street. The property had a lovely living /dining area and a well stocked crockery and glasses cupboard. There was also a washing machine and dryer which came in handy.

Although the property was great with plenty of bathrooms and and a lovely open plan living/dining area. There were quite a lot of broken /cracked things. The toilet in the upstairs bathroom/a wall tile in the main bathroom/the clocks in the bedroom/the central heating dial. Unfortunately there were also damp patches on the walls in the top floor bedrooms. Also a tea towel/washing up liquid etc would jave been good, but not the end of the world.

Great location shame about the bathroom

Great location. Comfortable beds and good living space

Main shower did not work so we all had to use the downstairs shower which was very inconvenient. We booked the property because of the amount of bathrooms but with one out of order this was a problem. We did contact the owner but after explaining the situation we received no reply which was disappointing.

Disappointing, needs a revamp and glass dangerous

The location and it accommodated us and our dogs.

It hadn’t been cleaned properly. The finish on the property was shocking. Holes in walls, floor, marks on all the walls, paint pulled away, panel for heating smashed with glass hanging out, dirty toilet rolls, stair carpet threads pulled and left, hairs in cupboards, dirty glasses, no welcome pack, no instructions for bins, courtyard scrappy and dingy.

Very hard to reach hosts until day of. Replys on booking was a week wait time. Phoned twice both went to voicenote. However on the day messaging through whatsapp seemed to garner a quicker response Only one working shower out of the two, small leather chair is falling apart slight

A fabulous house for a large group of people in a quiet area of central Bala!

It was a great house for 8 people and only a very short walk from the town centre in a peaceful location .

The duvet in the master bedroom could do with upgrading. The rear gate needs replacing as off its hinges. The back door sticks on the floor. All small things as the house is very good.

Lovely house in a great location, really clean with fabulous decor and lots of space for our group.

Nice enough for a couple of nights, but a few aspects in need of attention.

The size of the property, plenty of space. The location, as it was in easy walking distance to bars, restaurants, shops and the lake.

There were no cleaning products. For example kitchen spray, bathroom cleaner. Alhough we were away for the weekend, there are times you need to clean. Also there was only a tiny amount of hand wash left in the actual containers, possibly left from the last people who had stayed. As it was self catering, and for the amount we paid, I thought there would have been some cleaning products, and basic items such as hand wash. There was washing up liquid and sponges. Some of the rooms could do with more hanging spaces to hang your clothes up. The main disappointment was the back yard which looked abandoned with wild bushes, and a gate which didn't shut properly and clearly in need of replacing. Not a yard you could use to sit out in, hang your washing to dry or let your dog have a run/ walk around. And finally, I agree with the other reviews 10.00 is a little too early to be asked to leave; 11.00 would be better. That still leaves 5 hours for cleaning and preparing for the next guests.

Very well presented house in a superb location. Suitable for groups of friends or families

House was very well presented to a modern and clean standard. Kitchen/dining/living room was fab. (Could do maybe with some tea/coffee/sugar). Beds were very comfortable. Location was amazing.

Check out could be a little later. (Check in is very late and check out very early)

Good quality and good value town centre accommodation

Clear instructions on how to access the property. Excellent value for money with a large group staying and plenty of rooms to accommodate everyone. Property matched the description and photos and was an ideal base for an overnight in Bala. Arrived in a minibus and was able to find parking round the corner no problem after dropping off the bags.

Check out was a little early (10am) but not a big deal.

Nice place for a group of adults.

Really lovely house with plenty of space for 8 adults. Easy to locate and check in was seamless, also a couple of nice pubs very close by.

No parking by the property, however there is street parking available nearby. We also struggled a little with hot water on the 1st and 2nd floor.
