Amazing couple of days in Cannobio
The host was really welcoming, we had everything we needed and more, the area and the accommodation was perfect

A Gem Tucked Away in Cannobio
The villa is situated above street level and just on the outskirts of the town centre. It is only a 2 minute walk to the shopping district and the hustle and bustle of Cannobio.
There are private parking spaces allocated to the hotel about 20m from the villa.
It was great to step away from the street level and sit on the lawn or into one of the many nooks and crannies within the villa.
Basic kitchen and cooking facilities to eat in. Supermarket or delicatessens very close by or multiple dining out options literally out the front gated entry. The villa is attached to the hotel next door. We ate there everyday đ.
Felt very secure as there are family homes all around with the downside of little privacy (but that is village life in Italy). We stopped locking the villa doors after a day of being there.
There is a loft with two small single beds, then the next level has a queen bed with bathroom and toilet and ground level has a tv/lounge area, kitchen and a separate dining room to the side. All connected with a very tight spiral staircase.
Outside there is a covered dining area with a toilet and shower that is currently a storage area.
If you are travelling as a family unit it is a perfect set up. If travelling as a group of two/ three then be prepared for limited privacy due to the share bathroom.
We converted the TV area into a bedroom with access to the outside toilet to give each other some privacy.
There is no air-conditioning and fans only throughout the villa. The loft traps heat and with temps of 32°c, the downstairs area makes better sense to sleep in.
There is a laundromat about 800m from the villa (4⏠8kg loads/ 8⏠16kg loads).
The villa is dated but functional and we enjoyed our stay there. The hotel staff are really helpful, friendly , accommodating and they make you feel like family.
Air conditioning would have been great but it isn't a deal breaker.

Fantastic accomodation in fantastic town.
We made a round trip through Europe. This was by far the best place we have been to. Perfect location, perfect house, with garden in the middle of the most beautiful town at the lago Maggiore. Friendly host, perfect food in town, nice beach, vibrant town in the evening. We want to live here.
Parking was not easy.

gezellig huisje in superleuk dorpje
Superleuk dorpje. Het huisje is gelegen tegenover een gezellig restaurantje en op wandelafstand van het meer. Top voor een gezellig verblijf aan lago maggiore. Er is een plekje om buiten te zitten, plaats om fietsen te stallen en parkeerplaats voor auto.

Urlaub im Mai mit Hund
Super aufmerksamer Gastgeber! Die Zimmer und KĂźche sind ausreichend ausgestattet das Bad mit WC ist leider nur im ersten Stock! Wir hatten einen eigenen Parkplatz ca 100m entfernt! Sehr gutes Essen direkt gegenĂźber im Hotel wo auch der Check in ist! gute ruhige Lage aber trotzdem schnell im Zentrum und am Wasser! Ideal auch fĂźr Urlaub mit dem Hund da unweit ein Park mit FluĂ und viel Wald ist mit einer kleinen Kirche! Bäcker in der StraĂe und 5min mit dem Auto ein gut ausgestatteter Supermarkt! Preis Leistung war fĂźr uns gut! Kurtaxe Hund und Bettwäsche kosten nochmals extra!!
Eine zweite Toilette auch vom Garten erreichbar war leider defekt !
TIP. Bei Anfahrt mit dem Auto den letzten Km nicht auf Google Maps verlassen!!! Fahrt endweder bis in den Ort hinein bis zur Kirche und dann die Gasse bis zum Ende oder gebt das Krankenhaus an von dort dann beim ersten Mal etwas die StraĂe hoch bis zum Hotel "Casa Arizzoli" laufen!

Eigenständiges.Haus mit eigenem Garten (ideal mit unserem Hund), Restaurant/Bar direkt gegenßber, sehr zuvorkommender/-es Gastgeber und Angestellte, hervorragendes Frßhstßck und gutes Restaurant, gute Lage;
Enge Wendeltreppe in die oberen Geschosse bzw. zum Bad/Toilette, alternativ ist das 1. Obergeschoss ßber äussere Steintreppe erreichbar;
