Comfortable and good location when travelling to the Alps.

Family run B&B in a good location when travelling to skiing areas in Switzerland and France. Single room with additional direct access to outside. Not ensuite but good shared bathroom, seperate toilet and shared seating & cooking area.

Nothing really - tv channels pretty random and could do with an easy chair in the room (there is space).

The room was warm, and the beds were comfortable. The host, Anna, was very nice and took good care of us.

The pillows and pillow cases were old and should be replaced.

Lovely home atmosphere, on edge of town, quiet, but easy walking access to both the town and castle. Absolutely lovely host.

I found the foam mattresses comfortable but very hot / but it was an unusually hot time in Switzerland.

Friendly reception, possibility to handwash my clothes, good breakfast served early in the morning. And: I am not sure but according to the pictures on booking.com I think I got an upgrade wirh my room.

Ideal for a short stay to explore the Rhone Valley in and surrounding mountains.

The accommodation is placed amongst vine yards and with beautiful mountain views. It’s clean and comfortable with some kitchen facilities like a kettle and microwave. The breakfast included is generous and delicious. It’s only a short walk into shopping or the train station.

The rooms require sharing a bathroom, and the kitchen facilities are limited.

Friendly & homely. Comfortable beds. Easy to access via Francigena walk. Peaceful area with vineyards and walk to chateau. 10min walk to Italian restaurant La Nonna.

Good value for money BnB in lovely location.

Nice room in bottom of house with 2 other rooms used by other guests and shared bathroom. All facilities were clean and practical. Breakfast was quite sufficient though rather regimented. Great location within walking distance of station, restaurants and the chateau.

Check in before 5pm, no where to make tea/coffee during stay.

Good breakfast, friendly hostess. A handy stop on the Via Francigena with basic shared facilities.

If you have UK or US plugs, make sure you ask the hostess for an adapter to fit the Swiss sockets.

Great value

This BnB offered great value for the money. The owner was friendly and helpful. My room was basic, clean, and comfortable with a single bed. Shades could be lowered over the windows, making it very dark for sleeping. And it was very quiet. I had my own separate entrance to the house. The shared bathroom was clean. The breakfast was wonderful - it included yogurt, cereal, croissant, buns, cheese, meat, coffee, orange juice. It was nice to have an opportunity to meet with other guests at breakfast who were also walking the via Francigena. I highly recommend this BnB for budget travellers.

The room and stay was perfect, the hosts were very friendly and went above and beyond. We departed on a bike trip and the car park was full, I did not realize I needed to book ahead. They really saved us and helped us park the car for over a day, I would not have expected such kindness. It was really a life saver!

A comfortable stay on the Via Francigena

Comfortable bed, great shower. Plenty for breakfast.

Lack of power points in the eating area. I hesitated to call it a kitchen as the only cooking facility was a microwave oven. We needed to unplug the fridge to plug the microwave in. There isn't a kitchen sink, so it's very basic but limiting options to preparing your own meal.

Almost impossible to find

It took me an hour to find the place, even with Google maps. There is no name or number on the building and nothing to indicate it is a guest house. Some people I asked didn't know, others sent me the wrong way. I walked past it more than once.

A homely stay

It worked particularly well for us as our party filled all the rooms so it was more like a shared apartment. Angelique was helpful, breakfast tasty and varied but most of all we appreciated the opportunity to use her washing machine, for which many thanks.

A pleasant and comfortable stay for a reasonable price.

It was just a really well-run BnB. I was able to easily coordinate my arrival, there was parking available, and I was greeted warmly by the host. She was pleasant and informative throughout my stay.. I was shown my room (which was quiet, clean, and perfect for my needs) and the rest of the facilities. I was asked about my time preference for breakfast and instructed how to use my separate entrance. The breakfast was varied and tasty. And the BnB was only a few minutes from the train station I needed (and only a 10 minute walk to the main Aigle station). And the price was excellent for Switzerland. If I need a room in the area again I will definitely return.

Very easy going place, very clean, with friendly owner. And a cat!

Easy to find and easy access. The place had dedicated free parking which was very important for me. Also, enjoyed included breakfast. For me, one night stay traveler this was perfect accommodation!

Once again I felt lucky about my choice of BnB

A large home recently refurbished and facing the vineyards. Friendly hosts, flexible for adjusting breakfast to my travel schedule. Location easy to find, 12 minutes walking to/from railway station. Nice bathroom, fridge and micro oven. Room tastefully decorated, everything in working order. Aigle is a fine little town to visit, little trains into the mountains, and half hourly IC trains between Brig and Geneva Airport. Will not hesitate to visit again.

Rooms are in the basement on the ground. Of course, for a few days visit this is not a problem. The excellent bathroom serves two or three guest rooms, and was on my second day kind of invaded by the belongings of new female guests. But then again thats life in a BnB - had no real critical encounters! In the wine museum 15 minutes away you receive an informative brochure, however, all texts in the exhibition are in French only. May be a challenge for some.
