Lovely Homestay near the Van Long Nature Reserve.
The room was nice and big, the beds comfy, the breakfast tasty, the owners very helpful and friendly. We loved staying here and going on a boat tour in the morning to see some Delacour’s Langurs. The boat station is only 5 minutes walk away. Make sure you get there by 7 to have a better chance to spot these beautiful creatures.

We received a warm and friendly welcome from Phuong, the lady who owns the Homestay. Set in a quiet back street, our room was set amongst Phuong’s garden. A modern, airy room with comfortable bed and a great shower were most welcome. We stopped for one night on our cycle tour, heading to Hanoi, allowing us to take a boat trip on Van along wetland. Phuong is a great cook. The home cooked meals she made us were fantastic as was the choice of breakfasts. Banana pancakes recommended!!

We loved staying at this wonderful HOMESTAY. The bungalows were quiet and nicely designed. The host, Phuong, was kind and helpful. And a great cook! We weren't planning to eat all of our meals there, but after our first dinner that she cooked, we didn't see any reason to eat elsewhere. (Try her Banana Pancakes for breakfast, and her Tofu in Thai Sauce for dinner!) She had really nice bicycles available to use as needed, and scooters onsite for rent. The location of this HOMESTAY is ideal. It's only a short walk to the Van Long Nature Reserve and the boat dock. (Do plan to take a boat tour, it's just beautiful, and first thing in the morning is your best chance to see the wildlife.) We highly recommend this HOMESTAY to anyone planning a visit to Van Long.
