Walk to town in 10 minutes. Go to the library, get coffee, see a movie and have lunch by the creek. Now go visit the Mission and do some shopping before Farmer's Market starts. You've got time for a concert in the plaza before you walk home (and it's still daylight!)
In the morning, jump on the freeway in a matter of seconds and visit Madonna Inn, Avila Valley Barn, and Pismo Beach. Don't skip Morro Bay to the North. It's a 20 minute ride up Old Hiway 1. Keep going to visit Cambria or Hearst Castle.

This was the perfect place for our family this weekend. Easily walkable both to downtown/restaurants and Cal Poly campus. The breakfast pastries were fantastic and we appreciated the beverages including almond milk. Communication was quick and clear. I highly recommend this place for your next trip to SLO!

Absolutely awsome! From making the reservation to check out, everything was as promised plus a few surprises. Nancy was very responsive and creative. She answered all questions and requests for suggestions (Giuseppes great location for wonderful dinner and Scout Coffee great coffee and location). She was creative with breakfast treats, decor and furnishing, and outdoor seating. As we said, absolutely awesome!

Wonderful week in SLO and surrounding area. Home is conveniently located allowing us quick access to road to Morro Bay where our family lives, and to hiking trails, golf courses as well as a generous selection of places to eat or pick up food.

Check in was a breeze and communication clear and easy with Nancy. This was the perfect space for our quick overnight to SLO to check out Cal Poly and the area. It was an easy walk to downtown and a nice area. The biggest wow factor was finding homemade cookies, fresh fruit, all the things you could possibly need for a nice continental breakfast, including creamer, milk, and almond milk in the fridge! I stay in a lot of VRBOs and really appreciate these special touches to help welcome us to a property- especially for a quick stay. The bathroom is very nice and updated. The different colored towels helped ensure we all used our own- this is just another example of the obvious huge amount of thought put into making our stay an easy and great one!

Our stay in the cozy uptown SLO Victorian was a delight. It was walking distance from the shops and restaurants. The area was very safe, just a block or so from the police station. The best part was the hospitality of our host. We received a text a bit earlier than expected that the place was ready. The place was perfect for my mom and I. It was clean and so welcoming, honestly after a day of exhausting travel it was so relaxing. I would highly recommend!

So many personal touches, warm cookies, and pastries from a local bakery greeted us. The sheets and towels were top quality soft. This will probably go down as one of our most memorable/best stays to date. The home was perfectly SLO and had a bunch of tiny details/amenities that made it above and beyond the expected. From the welcome baked goods to the relaxing garden patio, this place was amazing. If anything the place is on the smaller side but still fit 2 couples sufficiently. The location is also right off the freeway entrance so it can get noisy. Still, we will definitely be coming back for this stay on our next trip because the service and care were duly noted. Thank you Nancy for being a great host!

Great stay!!! Upon arrival there were pastries from a local bakery with the best blueberry muffin! Fresh baked cookies and other items provided by the host gave the feeling of home. Clean and organized with a sitting area right outside the front door surrounded by flowers. Nancy was readily available if we had any questions or needed anything. Location is very close to downtown SLO and there is easy access to the 101 hwy. We stayed a week and it was wonderful. Best host ever!

We loved staying here! The house was exactly as described plus was really well equipped for a longer stay. Nancy provided many extra amenities like a welcome breakfast, extra water, toiletries and beach supplies not to mention the place was spotless! We loved hanging out in the outdoor patio area, it was perfectly landscaped with lush tropical plants, was private and had some very comfortable patio furniture. Parking was never a big issue, we were always able to find street parking on the same block. The only minor concern was that traffic noise can be fairly loud since it is near a freeway off-ramp but Nancy’s phenomenal hospitality, the great location close to town and all the amenities made this a near perfect stay!
