About this house rental
Welcome to "Uptown Victorian"
Walk to town in 10 minutes. Go to the library, get coffee, see a movie and have lunch by the creek. Now go visit the Mission and do some shopping before Thursday night Farmers' Market starts. We also have a great Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings in the Sprouts parking lot.
Jump on the freeway in a matter of seconds and visit Madonna Inn, Avila Valley Barn, and Pismo Beach. Don't skip Morro Bay to the North. It's a 20 minute ride up Old Hiway 1. Keep going to visit Cambria or Hearst Castle.
There is potential for traffic noise since the home is near the freeway off-ramp. (Not honking and screeching tires. Just cars)

This place is the tops! Truly a hidden gem. It is so much more than the pictures might suggest. It would not be a stretch to call it "curated." The house is indeed "cozy." The beds are comfy, as is the sofa. In fact, our stay here wanted for nothing. It seemed as though our host, Nancy, had thought of everything! The place is spacious. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped. Oh, and don't overlook the gardens and patio. Charming, and a perfect place to relax with a beverage and a book. Be sure to try and find the fairy house!

Amazing place, near everything. Property owner is very detailed and the rental has everything you could need. The patio area is really cute and perfect for a nightcap. Immaculate cleanliness. The host is very thoughtful to leave a continental breakfast with drinks.

I just can't say enough good things about this property or host. All communication was prompt and understandable. The entire property was clean and inviting. It felt like a giant hug.

Our biggest mistake with Nancy’s place was staying only 1 nite. After the first 5 minutes inside, we realized our mistake. We were welcomed with an outpouring of hospitality that was beyond our expectations- a cute little welcome card, fresh baked and warm cookies, apple turnover, strawberry muffin, chocolate chip muffin, fruit, breakfast cereals and oatmeal, juices and more coffee and tea than I knew existed! Everything was labeled and organized and nothing left to chance. The furnishings were comfy and inviting. The home was in a great historic district and a perfectly charming walk to SLO’s historic district with its shops and restaurants! A completely delightful find that merits a return!!!!
