Het uitzicht op het meer en de bergen vanuit de keuken en slaapkamer(s) was echt prachtig. De omgeving is pittoresk en typisch Italiaans. Vanuit Colico zijn meerdere strandjes goed bereikbaar. De gastheer is vriendelijk, makkelijk en benaderbaar. Op warme dagen hebben we ook genoten van de schaduw en het groen in het tuintje. Fietsen is rond het Comomeer wat lastiger maar vanuit Colico loopt een prachtig fietspad langs de rivier Adda tot aan Bormio. Langs het huisje loopt een wandelpad wat tot aan de top van de Monte Legnone voert (de hoogste top rond het Comomeer).
Aan het begin moesten wij erg wennen aan de overvloedig aanwezige kunst. Het interieur heeft daardoor geen rustige uitstraling, toch heeft dat ook wel iets unieks en speciaals. Echt een artistiek huis. Verder liet de hygiene wel wat te wensen over maar alles bij elkaar hebben wij hier een fantastische vakantie gehad!
