The Cosy Pod Studio - Short Stay in Salford

As the name suggests, the Cosy Pod is snug if not to say small, but this shortcoming is more than made up for in the intelligent use of the available space. The bedroom is very comfortable with a big modern TV at just the right distance for viewing from the bed. There’s a wardrobe beside the bed and two mini bedside lockers on either side. All the expected mod cons are in place (hair dryer, kettle, toaster etc). The shower room is very well laid out and has a top notch power shower. The kitchen space is tiny but is supremely managed by the addition of an Elfin Kitchen (Google it!) which gives you everything you need: sink, draining board, two ring hob, microwave oven, fridge and two door cabinet in an unbelievably small space. It’s not just for show either, everything works very well and the fact that it’s near the front door means you can get plenty of air when cooking. I think the most thoughtful touch was the inclusion of a good oscillating fan, a godsend during the latter stages of the August heatwave. Outside, the property is very secure, with a strong gate plus coded access to give one a sense of safety. The property is very modern and well kept and this part of Salford has greatly benefited from extensive urban renewal. There’s a nice park about 500 metres away and a Lidl just beyond the park. The property is within easy and straightforward walking distance of central Manchester as well. My interactions with the owner were very courteous and friendly. Many thanks for the memorable stay!

Very little I didn’t like, the table didn’t really work well as there was no space for it and it blocked access to the bed a bit. Anyway, the weather was good, so I just ate outside in the very pleasant back yard. There was a bit of wear and tear visible on some of the furniture but this has been the case in pretty every rental I have ever been in. The space may be a bit cramped for some tastes but the level of facilities in such a small space is astounding.

The name 'pod' describes perfectly this studio - small but very convenient. A good bed, a very nice bathroom, a small place to sit down to eat, good internet connection. We enjoyed the bench in the closed garden for the morning coffee.

Nothing to dislike - for two person probably a little tricky beyond a few nights, and not a place to spend the day indoors, but this is not what this address is for!

Super clean apartment with an amazingly helpful onsite team!

It was an oversight on my part but the apartment was really cosy and had no comfy indoor seating and hence seemed over-priced.

Great location, easy to park on the street, felt very secure with the gate and door lock. Property was very well cleaned before our arrival. Amazing communication with host before our arrival where they shared detailed photos to show us where to go and check in and out instructions. Bed was very comfortable.

If the kitchen tap is used when the shower is on, the water pressure drops but if you let who you’re staying with know it’s not a problem.
