Excellente experience

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this lovely Bed and Breakfast! The customer service was top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our early morning departure. They even prepared breakfast at 6:30am especially for us, showing their kindness and dedication to ensuring we started our day off right. I will 100% recommend this place to friends and family - thank you for making our stay so special! 😆

Subject: Request for Full Refund Due to Unacceptable Accommodation Conditions Dear Sir or Madam I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the condition of the room I was provided during my recent stay at your establishment. Upon entering the room, I was immediately struck by an unbearable odor that pervaded the entire space, making it impossible for me to remain there. The bedding was in a deplorable state—dirty, unwashed, and clearly used by numerous previous occupants without proper laundering. The blankets, in particular, were visibly stained and unsanitary. Such conditions are not only unacceptable but outright disgusting and disappointing, especially given the standards advertised by your property. Moreover, the lack of privacy in the room further compounded my discomfort. Due to these issues, I was unable to stay or sleep in the accommodation and was forced to make drastic alternate arrangements at the last minute, causing me significant inconvenience. Given the unacceptable state of the room and the fact that I did not utilize the accommodation as paid for, I respectfully demand a full refund of my charges. Lovely swimming pool

The breakfast was great. Really well prepared and very delicious.

Breakfast times on Sundays might be offered a bit later, especially when a guest isn't booking out. It was my only day to sleep in for a bit, so I didn't have breakfast on Sunday morning. A small bar fridge in the room will be an added bonus, especially for cold water. Walking to the kitchen was a bit of a hazzle during the night.

There was very little value for money however the stay was alright.

A really great place

Overall it was great. The staff very helpful. When I booked, I saw that the room had two single beds. I thought of sending a message to ask if a double bed was available, but I never did. I was very impressed when Sharon phoned me to hear if we would prefer a double bed. The breakfast was also really good.

Breakfast portions were adequate and tasteful. I liked the option to dish up ourselves. Variety of breakfast items could maybe be considered for guests staying longer.

The owner/manager was friendly and welcomed us into the establishment with clear instructions on how to go about navigating the space. Breakfast was great, there is a wide selection at the dining room and the cooked elements were made fresh and kept warm until we sat down to eat. The view from the upstairs lounge is lovely, you can see the ocean. The room and bathroom was clean and neat, as expected.

The water restriction notices in the bathroom bring a "downer" element to the stay. Cape Town is not currently in a state of drought and there are no water restrictions currently in place. Having these notices up all over the bathroom imposing personal water restrictions on individual guests makes one feel very uncomfortable when bathing/showering.

Wonderful stay

Great location and safe parking. The breakfast was very delicious and always on time. Staff was friendly and facilities clean.

Not really anything we did not like but we would have loved proper coffee like a Nescafe instead of Ricoffe. But it is just a preference and not a complaint.
