Tide House Seaside Holiday Cottage

Once again, we have had a wonderful stay in your beautiful cottage in Shaldon. Returning here has become a cherished tradition for us over many years, and each visit feels like coming home. Your cottage is everything a holiday home should be - comfortable, welcoming, and exceptionally well equipped. It is clear how much care and thought you put into ensuring your guests have everything they need, and we always appreciate the little touches that make our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. One of the joys of returning year after year is reliving so many happy memories. We never tire of walking along the beach, enjoying the stunning coastal scenery, and taking the ferry across to Teignmouth. Wandering through the lovely streets of Teignmouth and then returning to the unique charm of Shaldon is always a highlight of our holiday. Shaldon itself remains one of our favourite places. Its friendly atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and wonderful village character make it a very special destination. We have also enjoyed revisiting some excellent local places to eat, and would happily recommend them to anyone staying here.

We loved the cottage, tastefully decorated, clean and comfy. Eve was very helpful and communicated well. We had all we needed for 3 nights. Very close to the beach and plenty of eating places. Well stocked shop within a minutes walk plus a lovely bakery. Easy to get to Teignmouth via a foot ferry.

Not that it bothered us but for reference no parking, but there is a useful map with free parking in the cottage and we did manage to get spaces for our stay. You can park up and off load and then pack up. Lots of stairs in the cottage, but there is a lovely apartment on the bottom floor which looked really lovely.
