Good appartment for our family of three, clean, well equipped and modern. Beds were comfortable, shower is hot and powerful. There's air conditioning in both bedrooms and heating is via independent boiler with thermostat which allowed us to set the temperature we wanted. Kitchen is well equipped. The area is safe and pretty quiet, supermarket at 2 min walking distance and the Materdei metro station is at 5min. As for eating, there's two pizzerias 5min away, Cantina del Gallo and Pizza Starita, which I reccommend, especially Starita.
The host is friendly and communicative and accomodated the check-in an hour early, we appreciated it.
Some things could be improved, but these may fall under personal preference:
- Pillows a little too hard for my liking
- No coffee machine, just a coffe pot, not my preffered coffe making method
- No electric kettle, I had to resort to microwave to heat some water
- Sound insulation is about average, there was some construction/renovation in the building which spoiled the tranquility of our stay.

The location of the apartment is great - Materdei metro stop is just a few minutes away if you need to get around the city, or plan on visiting locations outside of Naples. City center is just 15-20 minutes away on foot, and 2 supermarkets are just around the corner. This is a nice neighborhood and the bonus is that the apartment is not facing the street, so the traffic noise is never a problem. It is exceptionally clean and has everything you need for a short stay. We were a party of 5, two couples with one 10 year old and spent and lovely and fulfilling vacation here. The owners are very helpful and caring.
There was really nothing not to like.
