Probably the most beautiful location in Votsalakia

Absolutley spectacular location with a panorama view of the ocean from the pool area and the studio. Situated 8-10 min walk from town, it’s an oasis of calm. Good-sized pool with plenty of areas with shade when it got too hot. Aslanis and his family made our stay extra pleasant. They brought us freshly cooked food and cakes several times(!). The two-levelled studio is spacious with AC on the top floor and big fans on the ground floor. When we arrived the fridge had been stocked with bottled water, wine, some breakfast food and coffee, which was very much appreaciated. Even if the studio is probably in need of a smaller update, we must say that overall it was very good value for our money, we hope to be back some day, many thanks!

We won’t complain about the tough hike up the the hill to the studio (which really shouldn’t come as a surprise for anyone who books this hotel!), although it would have been nice if the finally part of the road had been flatened somehow, as medium to large stones made it extra difficult bring up the baby stroller. The unused bar area by the pool was a bit weird, as it was used as a makeshift storage space for all kinds of tools, nails and chemicals for the pool. This wasn’t a problem for us, but for guests with kids who runs around a lot, this is a potential safety hazard. It should be easy to fix! Finally, it would have been nice if the hotel offered to sell 6-packs of water bottles, as it wasn’t the most enjoyable part of our holiday to bring 9 liters of water up the hill daily … :)

There was amazing view from the apartment, the most beautiful on the island. I was so amazed. There was a huge swimming pool with a nice walk down. The apartment has all the facilities we needed. If there wasn't something very kind owners give us what we needed. I reccomwnd this place to everyone.

In total we had a great time on Samos, and in the Kastro village, every we enjoyed the view

it's a great location, the view is amazing. and the building looks great. The apartments are quit ok, The check-in /check-out was very fast, and the hospitality was great. if you don't need all the luxury from a 5star hotel, than is this the perfect place, it's gives you a great view, place, perfect based to organize some road trips to the different paces, for the right money..

In the beginning we had some issues with ants, but i think that we great that by ourselves because of the open bag with some food...the slope to the castle is pretty steep but that's not the biggest issue i think.. by car it's easy after the first time... but ok if the can solve it it would be better for everyone. The swimming pool was quit cold, but maybe it's depends on the summer.

Disappointing

The view, swimming pool and the cats were lovely.

Overall highly overrated. The whole place needs a big renovation. Kitchen was very incomplete, dirty and not well maintained. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. No comfortable seats / coach in the living room. Airconditioning which was located upstairs wasn't able to keep the bedroom downstairs cool and didn't always work very well. Stairs made a lot of noise when going up or downstairs, waking up the whole house at night. The shower wasn't very clean and didn't have a curtain, resulting in a completely wet bathroom. Toilet seat wasn't properly fixed. Sunbeds at the pool were broken. Around the pool some lights were broken / open electricity cables, lights were never switched on. Only after 4 days some cleaning was done, while you would expect that at least the bins are emptied every day... The last part of the road to the house is a dirt road with small sharp stones, a risk for your car.

Ulaşımı çok zor. (Araç ile çıkmak oldukça zahmetli, dar yollardan ilerleyip toprak yola geçiş ve sonunda dik ve virajlı bir rampa var) Ahşap merdivenler çok ses yapıyor. (Özellikle çocuklu aileler için gece uykudan uyandırma yapabilir) Odalarda böcek ve sinek var. (Camlarda sineklik yoktu, farklı türde böcekler gördük) Gece ışıklandırması yetersiz. (Araç park yerinde sensörlü lambalar var ama gece eve donuslerde oldukca yetersiz) Çok fazla evcil ve evcil olmayan hayvan var.(Ne yazikki başıma talihsiz bir kaza geldi. Çalışanların evinin içinden aniden üzerime doğru büyük bir köpek saldırdı. Tek tesellim köpeğin bana saldırmış olması, çocuklara saldırmis olsaydı kötü sonuclanabilirdi.

En oas av harmoni och lugnet

En oas av harmoni Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse på Kastro Villas i Samos och kan varmt rekommendera boendet. Platsen erbjöd en makalös utsikt över havet, som verkligen bidrog till en avkopplande atmosfär. Poolområdet var stort, fräscht och ofta privat, vilket var en stor bonus. De underbara vindruvsträden gav inte bara välbehövlig skugga utan även läckra frukter att njuta av. Det som verkligen gjorde vår vistelse speciell var de otroligt trevliga och hjälpsamma värdarna, i synnerhet Popy, hennes kusin, bror och svägerska. Deras gästfrihet och familjära bemötande fick oss att känna oss som hemma. Boendet hölls dessutom oklanderligt rent med städning två gånger i veckan, vilket uppskattades enormt. Kastro Villas är verkligen en familjär och traditionell plats på vad vi tycker är Greklands finaste ö.

Några mindre saker som hade kunnat förbättra vistelsen ytterligare var tillgång till en tvättmaskin samt ett något större kylskåp. Vägen upp till boendet var otroligt vacker, men på grund av de nyligen brända backarna var den samtidigt lite utmanande att ta sig fram på. Trots dessa små punkter rekommenderar vi Kastro Villas varmt till alla som söker en genuin och avkopplande upplevelse på Samos.

Gigantische Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick, Dachterrasse und Pool in kurzer Distanz zum Strand

Toller, großzügiger Pool. Gigantischer Ausblick auf die Küste. Tolle Sitzmöglichkeiten inklusive Dachterrasse. Super sympathische Gastgeber. Man konnte jederzeit etwaige fehlende z.B. Küchengegenstände bei den Gastgebern nachfragen. Apartment wurde 1x/Woche perfekt gereinigt.

Dass wir irgendwann abreisen mussten :-)

... und die Sonne brennt

Die Unterkunft liegt auf 200 m Höhe und ist ca. 700 m vom Strand und dem Ort mit vielen Tavernen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt. Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer und den Ort. Das Apartment bietet viel Platz. Es wurde alle 3 Tage gereinigt und Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt.

Das Apartment entsprach nicht mehr den eingestellten Fotos und Ausstattungsmerkmalen. Die Bilder sind mindestens über 15 Jahre alt, wenn man sich die Vegetation, die Möbel und die nicht mehr vorhandene Dekoration ansieht. Leider gibt es auch keine Fliegenfenster (nur noch im Bad und am Fenster im oberen Schlafraum) die unbedingt erforderlich sind. Die Küchenausstattung ist mehr als dürftig. Es gibt keinen Toaster, keine Schöpfkelle, kein Schaumlöffel, kein Schneidemesser, keine kleinen Teller und Schalen, auch ist keine Grundausstattung wie Salz, Pfeffer, Essig, Öl oder Filtertüten vorhanden. Vorhanden waren 4 Glastassen, 4 große flache Teller, 5 Suppenteller, 3 Weingläser, 4 Wassergläser und 4 Mehrzweckgläser, 1 Schneidebrett, 4 Eßlöffel, kleine Löffel , Gabeln, Messer und 1 Holzspatel. Wir konnten leider auch kein Fenster öffnen, da dann sofort die Katzen ins Apartment kamen und sich überall breit gemacht haben (auf der Küchenanrichte, den Tischen und Betten) und deshalb war es auch sehr heiß im kleinen Haus. Man hat den ganzen Tag Sonne - von Sonnenaufgang bis die Sonne hinter dem Berg verschwunden ist -. Bei uns war das 19.00 Uhr. Es gibt keinen Schattenplatz. Der Pool liegt auch in der Sonne. Die Poolbar ist verwaist und verdreckt. Auf dem gesamten Gelände liegt viel Gerümpel.
