Marlyn Lodge – City of London

Location near Tower Bridge. Public transport in the neighbourhood.

On Booking.com it said there was a gym at the lodge. That wasn't true. There was a gym-/fitnessclub in front of the lodge but you had to pay £15 for a single session.

Excelente ubicación, muy cerca del underground, de la Tower of London y de Tower Bridge. El departamento está en excelentes condiciones y muy bien equipado, con una cocina muy completa. El barrio es tranquilo y tiene varios supermercados cerca. El proceso de checkin y check out fue muy sencillo.

very nice room fitted the size of our party. very comfortable beds nicely staffed kitchen (and unlike other places - WITH essentials such as salt and oil) good location close to public transportation

The apartments are in an excellent location and were clean and fully equipped — no complaints there at all.

The management changed our booking without any prior notice. One of our two studios was replaced with a one-bedroom apartment, affecting two families travelling together. We only discovered this on arrival. While the apartment itself was fine, the lack of communication created an awkward and uncomfortable situation between friends who had booked identical accommodation. When I raised this politely, the manager's response was dismissive and condescending. He had previously written to us saying he preferred to hear about any concerns early so he could resolve them — yet when I did exactly that, I was met with a defensive, unpolite and unhelpful tone rather than the courtesy that was promised. Great property let down by poor communication and unprofessional customer handling.
