Villa Hortensia

I thought the room set up was quite unique. I would have enjoyed a more comfortable chair to sit in…I guess I could have used the living area outside my room but didn’t. It was nice o have kitchen facilities. I liked the heated floor in the bathroom!

The stairs might be difficult for some to manage.

The location is great and staff was very nice and accommodating.

The location was the best part of this property!! Right near the heart of the Old Town. It was tucked away in the quaintest courtyard, which was charming. The value was excellent. The owners/managers of this property were kind and willing to be helpful. I felt very safe as there were multiple locked doors to access my room. The shower water pressure was great and water was hot!

The weather was warm during my stay and I found the apartment to be sweltering when I first arrived because the heat had been on. The warm weather resulted in a warm room, since there was no fan or air conditioning. There was only one tiny window in the room I was in - I didn't realize how much I appreciate windows and natural light. The shower was not ideal - the doors didn't really close/seal properly, which resulted in water outside the shower one morning. The grout was kind of gross. Note that the steps up to the loft are very steep and narrow. I'm a healthy, able-bodied young traveler and I felt nervous navigating the stairs.

Location was excellent in the old town

Room was very stuffy especially if you closed the shutters and this is needed as no curtain, no fan, bed uncomfortable and quilt hot especially as no single sheet provided. Nowhere comfortable to sit in the room and the outside courtyard is a cafe.
