Seating in bar area needed a good cleaning

The tub and the location.

The room was pretty hot and toilet a bit tight. Breakfast shouldn’t be empty before 11:00 if they say that it’s ending at 11:00. It should be filled until 11.

The reception staff was great - polite and helpful.

The staff at the hotel bar (a woman) was extremely unhelpful. I asked for a proper red wine glass to take into my room, and I was plainly refused: "I am not going to give this glass to you" I was told. I was offered a glass similar to what I had in my room (not best for red wine), suggesting that the staff member was worried the glass I asked for could get broken or "disappear". I travel frequently for over a decade, and never got this kind of refusal at any hotel rated at 3 stars or higher - especially not at a 4-star property. That was quite a Soviet-style treatment that I received - old habits die hard, apparently. Additionally, the facilities already show signs of wear. Because everything else was decent, I rate it as "good".

The location.

I was very disappointed with the spa facilities. The pool water was so cold that it was impossible to swim, and the sauna was only around 60°C, which is far below what you would expect. The gym was fine, nothing special but okay. However, in the room there were no proper glasses or wine glasses – the only ones available were dirty and dusty.
