Chalet Stöckli

The staff were really great and helpful, and the restaurant at the hotel has exceptional food! Wilderswil is a great spot to use as a base. Accom is about a 10 min walk from the train but there is a semi regular bus you can hop on if timing suits.

No aircon or fans which was tough in summer. Also no form of kitchenette or utensils in the room which didn’t bother us too much but I do wish we had at least a fridge to keep drinks cold.

It is a lovely Swiss Chalet and a great place to stop on the way to the mountains

Great quiet location with excellent public transportation access! The facilities were clean and the staff very helpful and responsive. A great place to stay outside, but close to Interlaken!

We stayed in the hostel rooms which were very nice. You just need to be aware that you will be sharing a restroom and shower with other guests on your floor!

The location is nice. We came by car and could park at the hotel parking lot for free. All the nearby landmarks were easily accessible. The hotel is clean and the lady at the reception is friendly. The interior of the room is modern and nice.

Unfortunately, despite the recent renovation, the rooms are not soundproof. If you have any neighbours with children, believe me, you'll hear every cry. Squeaky wooden floor boards and stairs make the most annoying sounds when people walk on them, which they do quite often, because there's only one bathroom on each floor for 3 rooms. That was also a bad surprise, because it's easy to overlook that the bathroom is shared in the room's description. The hotel is definitely overpriced considering the lack of soundproofing and a shared bathroom. There's no balcony, no nice view and it was hot in the room though it was in April. The room itself is tiny. If you need a good night sleep and comfort, book something else.
