We really liked the location. Situated in the middle of S. Miguel island it made it easy for daily trips. The staff was very nice and friendly, lovely pets and awesome garden. Pool as a big plus on top of all.
Due to the weather and humidity, we had a bit of mold in a few spots in the room, but thanks to the weather, we were able to air it out a lot, and that helped circulate the air.

The Superior Suite (Dragon Suite) was very comfortable with an extra living room. 👍🏻
The breakfast, the tea station & free biscuits were absolutely nice as well.
We also loved the garden & the fresh fruits! 🙂

This property is a special type of accomodation! The stuff and the owners make you feel very welcome. The breakfast is simple but it consists of local products and each day you get a different kind of extra treat like eggs, sandwich, cake etc. They provide coffee, tea and cookies all the time without an extra charge too!
The property itself has an amazing garden and a well equipped guest kitchen that you can use.
The owners have pets(3 cats and 2 dogs) that are extremely friendly and always ask to be petted!
The location is very quiet and ok if you have a car to travel around. If not it might not be very convenient.
We visited in January so the room was a bit cold and humid. There is an electric heating device that somehow helped. The bathroom was also very humid and cold. I think in summer this is not a problem though and I would definitely recommend this accomodation!

Armindo was amazing, very friendly and would help us with everything. The location is great, very close to Ponta Delgada and in the center of the island. We really recommend doing a 'swimming with dolphins' excursion, Armindo can even help you with booking such a trip.
Our bed was REALLY small and old, we did not get a good night's sleep when staying at Quinta Minuvida. For everyone taller than 1.80m, you would not fit in this bed (we are from the Netherlands where everyone is quite tall, so please keep that in mind if you are also a tall person). The cleanliness of the room was okay, but it could have been better.
