Guest House Nikala

What’s an amazing place to stay. It was difficult to find, but people in the village helped direct us. The renovated part of the towers was like staying in a fairytale. The room was beautiful. This is a remote part of Georgia where few Georgians have visited. The café was closed because it was September but somewhere else to eat was arranged. It was an incredible experience and we were able to leave some things while we undertook a two day hike from here. We would strongly recommend staying here, especially when the café is open. We were able to have drinks and tea from the bar.

We would’ve liked better instructions on how to locate the place

Very nice place and well kept. Very kind staff. Very big breakfast and lunch box.

It’s not very social, feels more like a hotel than a guest house - you don’t meet other travellers. I wish there was a microwave available.

Very nice owner and staff. Good location. Parking right in front of the building. Hot water available, as well as the heating. Amazing breakfast. We've had a comfortable stay.

Staff was nice. Walking distance to centre. If you like heavy savoury breakfast, then also good for just a little add on.

Pictures look definitely better than in reality, it became quite old we felt. Next to a noisy main road. Bathroom not comfy. Overall very basic for not being the cheapest and most central place in Mestia.
