Hotel Svaneti

The view is amazing

View, Kettle in the room. Near to the city centre. Toaletries included as well.

Firstly despite the fact that the hotel is located right on the main road, it's located sideways (plus you should have seen how thick the walls are there) so for us it was quiet. Secondly, the mountain view was absolutely fascinating, most of our time in hotel were spent sitting on the balcony. It was very easy to park the car right on the main road next to the hotel. The rooms were warm, the water supply was okay. Also the hotel administrator allowed us to come in with our dog. I also noted that hotel has nice yard for chilling there in summer.

Our room definitely required certain upgrade: some sockets weren't working, bedside lamps were broken, the mattresses weren't comfortable and the bed linen wasn't 100% cotton (I do believe having 100% cotton is a mandatory thing for any guest experience). I would call it a dislike, but it's important to have in mind if you need a lactose-free / vegan / fat-free options for breakfast, these will be very limited, but this will be your primary experience throughout Svaneti.

Very central, close to stores, restaurants and bus/taxi station

WiFi basically unusable. Booking.com had fridge and safe listed as amenities, but those didn’t exist in the room. Beds very soft and squeak with every movement, waking up everyone in the room. The place has potential, but some work/upgrades are needed.
