Kotor Nest

The best thing about our stay was the host’s care for our needs. She texted us, called, gave us laundry detergent, and made us feel welcome in general. It was an excellent stay.

The location of this property is simply perfect: right in the heart of Kotor Old Town, yet tucked away on a peaceful little street where you can enjoy complete quiet despite the vibrant atmosphere and nightlife just a few steps away. Our four days in Kotor were part of a longer road trip, and this was by far the best property we stayed in. The room was incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, full of character, and extremely comfortable. What truly makes this place special, however, is the staff. They were absolutely outstanding — genuinely kind, welcoming, helpful, and incredibly understanding. We arrived much later than expected because of long delays at the Croatian border, yet they welcomed us with such warmth and patience. Travelling with a toddler is not always easy (especially a very messy one!), but they made us feel completely at home and went out of their way to make our stay relaxed and enjoyable. Another wonderful touch is the beautifully decorated shared kitchen and coffee station. It is such a thoughtful addition, especially if you are staying for more than a couple of nights or travelling with children. A perfect combination of location, comfort, charm, and exceptional hospitality. We honestly could not have asked for more. Highly, highly recommended — we would return in a heartbeat!

Location is perfect in old town. The bed and room was very comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. The staff were so amazing! Very helpful and informative. Was able to get laundry done.

First floor entrance was under construction so it is not an attractive entry but it did not affect our stay.

The location was fantastic. Right in the middle of old town. The room was nice and clean. The receptionist who checked us out was lovely and helpful (think her name was Andrea) Bed was huge and amazing for my partner and I space wise.

This certainly should not be called a hotel it is more like a hostel environment! Not sure how this has 4 stars. Things wrong included: - shower did not work properly, at times was like a cold drip that wouldn’t run. This has been complained about in previous reviews but not fixed. - we felt like staff could have been more helpful through the stay. - the room is supposedly cleaned only if you stay longer than 4 nights ( which for a 4 star hotel is crazy) but we stayed 5 nights and our room was not cleaned once. We were offered clean towels ONCE out of 6 days and not a single fresh set of bathroom products like shampoo, which we ran out of. - the booking stated there was a kitchen available. This is actually in another part of the building with a different key which staff only gave to us mid week after we had to ask. - the entrance to the building is undergoing rework it looks like - however, it is rather dodgy looking and smells of cat urine. - the hallways themselves smelt of sewage. - worst of all - if you are a light sleeper DO NOT STAY HERE. the walls of the room were paper thin and I was kept awake multiple nights by snorers and music in one room that went on until midnight. Quite the opposite of the relaxing cosy stay we were expecting.
