Unbeatable location, lots of space, impeccably clean. Very helpful staff, kind and responsive.

The water spout in the kitchen sprays all over. Also, the shower faucet in the small bathroom could use an upgrade.

Very spacious apartment, separate living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a separate kitchen which was fully equipped. Air conditioning too. The location was excellent, centre of Verona which sits on a pedestrianised location surrounded by designer stores, only a few hundred yards from Arena de Verona & Piazza Bra, easy to walk everywhere with everything from shops, bars, restaurants and the main attractions on your doorstep. Although it is located in a busy location, the apartment was quiet, with zero outside noise. The hosts at Italian-Flat were great over WhatsApp’s with quick response times, and easy to understand instructions for access as we checked in at 7pm. We would definitely stay here again!

The apartment’s fantastic location right in the heart of the old town is undoubtedly its biggest selling point. While this does mean that it gets quite noisy in the evenings and at night, that’s to be expected given the central setting. Overall, the flat was relatively clean – apart from a few hairs left behind by the previous guest – or at least as clean as an older apartment can reasonably be.

I would not choose to book this apartment again. The host did not leave a good impression for several reasons. Most notably, they did not respond to any messages – neither before my arrival nor during the stay when I gave feedback. Here’s what I encountered: * A noticeable smell of gas in the air at times. * A very old, broken clothes drying rack that could not be used. * A showerhead that sprayed water in all directions and clearly needs replacing. * A shower screen that was no longer functional and appeared questionable in terms of hygiene. * Several lights were not working, and some plugs were visibly deformed. * The hairdryer provided could not be used without an adapter. * There was only one adapter in the entire flat, which was usually installed in the kitchen. * The kitchen was rather poorly equipped – cooking would not have been possible due to a lack of basic essentials like salt, pepper oil etc. * The Wi-Fi (a Vodafone box) had no reception in the apartment. * Guests are expected to dispose of their rubbish themselves upon departure, using a facility located a five-minute walk away. The room advertised as a second bedroom turned out to be a rather unloved “living room” with a sofa – whether one would be willing to sleep on it is entirely a matter of personal preference.
