Casa Felice

Obviously, the view is amazing and the location is close to all the action. Many people took pictures of the posted contact information as they walked by, and a few were even bold enough to ask what I paid. (I felt very special!) My hosts were extremely gracious and went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. The welcome wine was one of the best I’ve ever had. Felice provided insider tips and even offered personal taxi services to nearby points of interest.

There was nothing I didn’t like, but I will caution that the view is so wonderful that it attracts many tourists, which is great if you enjoy lively action and to “people watch.” I saw many interesting characters and a few professional photo shoots. So, it’s probably not the best place if you prefer to hide in a quiet backstreet. However, I must note that I could not hear street noise when the apartment doors were closed. I always slept very well.

Amazing location - clean - had everything we needed - air conditioned-host made our accommodations outstanding. 10+

Casa Felice was an excellent place to stay during our trip to Monopoli. Felice assisted us from the moment we landed until we left. Firstly, he greeted us warmly and directed us to a place to park our car. He then helped us take our luggage to our apartment and gave us some helpful advice for our time in Monopoli. He also gave us a complimentary bottle of wine which was a beautiful touch. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and has everything you need and want. The bed was comfortable, there were plenty of towels and the AC is strong which was much appreciated during the heat. Felice was always close by if we needed anything else. The apartment is located at the heart of the historical centre, overlooking the sea and close to all the nearby restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend anyone coming to Monopoli to stay here.

There are a few steep steps in and out of the apartment so we had to lift our pram up and down them every time we left the apartment. Not a big issue but slightly inconvenient for us in our circumstances.

Тhis apartment is located underground with very high humidity and unpleasant odors, has no window for ventilation, no normal daylight, low ceiling. The front door of the apartment is the only source of fresh air and light, but unfortunately the entrance to the apartment is directly on the walking area, which was very noisy and with many walking people especially between 8 pm and 2 am. In addition, fine white dust was constantly pouring from the ceiling of the room, which was everywhere on the food on the table, the bed in the bedroom. We stayed for three days, there was no daily cleaning. Also the description of the apartment stated that there is a terrace, as well as a photo of the terrace is attached, which is misleading because the terrace of the neighboring apartment is photographed. Lack of wifi, after insisting on the second day we have received a wifi device from the owner. There is no mobile connection in the apartment, we have to stand at the front door, if we enter the stairs down to the room there is no connection.
