Las vistas eran realmente increíbles ya que se veía todo Funchal y por la noche era precioso. El poder aparcar el coche en la puerta de casa era grandioso. La atención de la anfitriona fue realmente genial
Le faltaba bastante limpieza en toda la casa. El botón del WC estaba roto y cada vez que tenía que usarlo te lo clavabas en el dedo. La cama no sólo incómoda sino que cada vez que te dabas la vuelta crujía la madera y era realmente insoportable el ruido. Sin shampoo ni gel de ducha. 2 rollos de papel higiénico para 8 días. Vajilla justa y sucia que tuvimos que limpiar todo antes de usarlo. El tendedero roto y destartalado. Telarañas en la puerta de entrada.

Blick über Funchal … toller Blick vom Balkon
Wir hatten zwei Betten gebucht und erst auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dass es einen Schlüssel für ein zweites Zimmer in der Unterkunft gibt und wo dieser liegt- man sei davon ausgegangen, dass wir nur eines der Doppel-Betten benötigen. Ich empfand das als keinen fairen Umgang, dies nicht von vornherein anzubieten, weil wir es ja auch so gebucht hatten.

Convenient location to catch the bus for Valley of the Nuns. Shower was hot and good water pressure. Kitchen was spacious and well equipped.
Communication with the host prior to arrival was incredibly poor, ten days to reply to emails. Paying by money transfer involved an unknown 6% markup or extra 20 euros. The view can only be enjoyed from the balcony but there is no umbrella so it’s too hot to sit and enjoy. The neighbourhood is noisy with dogs and chickens and traffic right outside the front door. The lighting in the rooms is garishly bright like a hospital surgery and could really use some softer bulbs or lamps.
