The property was really convenient for both the old and new parts if the city. It is in a quiet side road so there was no noise at night. The decor was authentic and homely. Beds were comfortable and the room was spotless. Modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. The owners, Jean-Paul and Annie, were so generous and welcoming. The continental breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We really enjoyed our stay.

Quirky and quiet. Well equipped kitchenette, comfortable befd and lovely breakfast.
Jean Paul was very helpful with dinner suggestions and we were able to store our bags for the day.

If you stay in a "Maison d'Hôte" you have a completely different experience compared with staying in a regular hotel. We loved the fact we were in a family home built in the 1870s, containing traditional furniture and decor. We enjoyed being able to chat with the owners who were very hospitable and gave helpful advice for exploring the town.

If you are looking for a personal experience where it looks like you are staying at someones house, this is a good place. The host can give personal tips for visits and restaurants.
I don't think it's a great B&B to go with kids. The room was large but a bit dusty with a lot of carpets on the floor. Upon arrival the kids where warned directly to not make any noise, when I am more than capable of saying that to them myself. Also, the host continued with a story about a kid who fell off the wall in Carcasonne, when I asked him to stop telling it. Felt like walking on my tose and invading someone's space the whole time.
