Excellent French food. Probably the best in the old city.

The only thing we did not like was the long hike into the old city. Taxis can’t come into the city. We came through the back door, but the time over a dirt surface, then a series of narrow, steep stairs, was a pain. There should be a warning for people who have heavy bags. It was also extremely hot (38 degrees C).

Struttura fantastica! La camera era spaziosa, comoda e pulita. Al nostro arrivo lo staff è stato gentile e cordiale. La vista della camera era superba, si vedevano le vetrate della cattedrale e di sera l’effetto è veramente suggestivo. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo chiesto allo staff se potevamo mangiare al ristorante e nonostante fossimo a ridosso della chiusura ci hanno fatto accomodare e abbiamo mangiato un’ottima cucina tipica (assolutamente da provare!). La struttura è veramente perfetta per chi vuole soggiornare all’interno delle mura di Carcassonne. Ad una certa ora quando i turisti man mano abbandonano la città potete fare una passeggiata nel borgo e immergervi in un vero scenario medievale girando le mura e i vicoli di questa città spettacolare.

Posizione ottima, super centrale. Camera grande. Vista sulla chiesa. Te e caffè a disposizione. Centrale ma molto tranquillo. Camera climatizzata

Frigo non funzionante. Problemi con lo sciacquone del water ma prontamente risolti.

The apartment is located in the city center of Carcassone and close to a parking spot where i could charge my EV car. It is indeed quite a large apartment. The instructions to enter the building and retrieve the key were accurate and clear - although in french.

The building is old and is quite dismissed, in a street that is quite narrow (as it is in the city). There are stairs to get to the apartment (not recommended for anyone with mobility impairment) and there was an odd smell in the ally. Bathroom looked quite clean but we found very odd that there was no toilet paper and the basket was containing some waste. We had 3 towels, quite small and no shower carpet - which was not very convenient as there is an open shower and water gets on the floor. There was no under sheet on the bed. Some other sheets were found folded on the sofa - but it was no clear whether they were clean. We slept over the single sheet placed on the bed. We did not use the kitchen but while trying to find the toilet paper, we saw that in many drawers there were insects. As a fact, in the first 20 min of staying in the apartment i was stung by mosquitos a few times. As the apartment is in a narrow street, the lights are required also in the broad light. Overall, the pictures on the booking look like beautifying the actual rooms.
