Great location!

Great location in the centre of the old town, very close to bars, restaurants, shops, the river Loire, the Royal Chateau and other tourist sites, and the main square where there was a big market on the Saturday. Very good communication from the host, including information on the property and how to access it, and local amenities and sites of interest. He also quickly solved a problem we had with the front door to the property. Comfortable, well equipped apartment accommodation with small private outdoor area.

Problem accessing the property due to faulty lock, but the host quickly resolved the matter once it was brought to his attention.

An excellent location in the historic city of Blois. Close to many restaurants and shops of all types. The apartment was neat and clean when we arrived, the congenial host was quick to come and resolve an electrical problem. Overall, a very good choice and our 2nd trip to this property.

This place made me feel like in was truly in FRANCE..I loved it!

The accommodations gave me real pleasure as made me feel like I was really in France. It isn’t a sterile modern Euro-hotel, but a little space carved out of a hundreds year old building. I loved the stone walls and the sweet tiny court yard off one end of the space. It is a long open space, with a full bed at one end, a kitchen area in the middle and an area with a TV and a couch on the other end. The couch opens to a bed. Everything is modernized. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, micro, toaster, along with a coffee pot and electric kettle. There was care to decorate. The armoire is old, but appropriate for the space. I really loved walking out the hall to the small street with the small shops. Though during certain hours vehicles can use the street, I think it is only used for deliveries. I never felt that things were noisy although you are at street level with floor to ceiling and wall to wall glass windows. For privacy there are gauzy curtains and black out curtains. It is a perfect place for a person that appreciates having a touch of the past, instead of the conventional.

The bathrooms arrangement is a bit odd. There are about 5 stairs to get to the separate toilet room and the shower room. The stairs have a guard rail, so you décence from the shower then ascend for the toilet. It isn’t terribly inconvenient, just oddly amusing. But the facilities are modern. I would also like the option for stronger lighting, with a switch to turn on lights when entering the space.

Excellent location. Right in the center of the town, just a few steps away from the commercial street, where you can climb the stairs to get to the royal castle, while the small street where it is located is very quiet. Large room, enough for 3 or 4 people to live. Well equipmented. The shower and toilet are separate, can be used simultaneously. The owner is very responsible. When we raised the issue of too cold, he responsed quickly and effectively.

Toilet is very small, dim lighting. Notice all: guest responsible for bringing all the garbage away, which is very easy to be forgotten.

Excellent location next to bars and restaurant and the majestic Château de Blois. Quaint streets and amazing bakery in the corner.

A drunk guy kept banging on the main door just outside the apartment. My husband let him in and went upstairs. He left again and banged at the door - in fact he was banging from 2-6 am in the morning and we couldn’t get to sleep. Prior to that a pregnant woman fell off the stairs and hurt herself and was crying in pain. Firefighters came to rescue and take her to hospital. Not sure if this happens every time but it really made our stay interesting and very tiring. The toilet also needs deep cleaning with so mould growing which can be easily taken off by ‘exit mould.’

The location, Bruno (owner) and communication. The property is beautiful and fitted out a great standard. Bruno was super helpful and found us a place to store our bicycles.

Apartamento bonito y bien situado pero inexistente atención del personal

Ubicación excelente. Apartamento amplio, cómodo y decorado con muy buen gusto en un edificio histórico precioso.

Lo que menos nos gustó fue que la persona que gestiona el apartamento (hemos estado 4 noches, 5 días) no contactó con nosotros en ningún momento durante nuesta estancia, ni siquiera hizo el chech-in (ni nos pidió documentación ni nada. Vamos q por saber no sabe ni quienes éramos). Sólo mandó mensaje con las instrucciones para recoger las llaves en el portal de al lado a nuestra llegada y el día anterior a nuestra salida nos escribió un tal Tristán, para recordarnos q al día siguiente teníamos q dejar el apartamento. Eramos 2 personas y dejaron 4 toallas de ducha para todos los días y 1 toalla de manos. Nos teníamos q secar los 2 con la misma toalla (toallas q tampoco estaban muy bien). El grifo donde está el wc no funcionaba x lo q teníamos q ir a lavar las manos al otro cuarto donde están la ducha y el lavabo. Ningún día se pasó nadie tampoco a hacer la limpieza de nada. Tanto es así que desde q llegamos hasta que nos fuimos -5 días- alguien dejó una bolsa con la caca de perro en la parte exterior de la cristalera (que hace de pared exterior, ya q el apartamento debió de ser un antiguo comercio), con lo cual cada vez q abrías la cortina, allí estaba y allí sigue. Una pena, porque la actitud INEXISTENTE de la persona/s q gestionan el apartamento nos hace bajarle mucho la.puntuación q le daríamos.
