This beautiful old stone farmhouse was gorgeous. It was built in 1612 and the same family has owned it for over a hundred years. The grounds were private and pretty with its vineyard and friendly little dog. Our room was spacious with beautiful stone walls, a really comfortable bed and modern bathroom with every amenity. It was a sweet haven in a little town but close to Parma and other villages for restaurants and tours. The owner, Federico, was gracious and friendly and we really enjoyed talking with him at breakfast. We hope he visits us in TN.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like our enjoy about the property.

The location was a perfect setting, away from the city - in the country only 11km away from Parma. The breakfast was simple, but good! Federico was an outstanding host. He helped us with dinner recommendations and also the Parmesan Tour in the area, which was fantastic! One of the better tours we had with a great tasting at the end. There is a Super Store nearby along with gas and restaurants. Lots of these things are within walking distance.

Staff rushed and not interested in our comfort at all. Gave us incorrect phone to call in case of a question, etc.
