Understated elegance - with a stunning view.

Everything. The property is a 10 minute drive from Alba on a high ridge with stunning views in all directions. On a clear day you can see Mt. Blanc in one direction and Mt. Viso in the other. You are surrounded by vineyards, with the villages of Barolo and Barbaresco a short drive away. The apartment is comfortable with all the amenities for a short stay. Of particular note is the large size of the two bedroom apartment on split level (3 stairs). There is a large bathroom with plenty of hot water with good pressure. There is free parking on the premises. The host was extremely responsive, easy to contact and spoke good English as well as Italian. She came by on several occasions to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, including a couple of packets of pasta on the house. They also have excellent advice for places to eat in the area if you don’t feel like eating in. I would highly recommend you to stay here.

Simple, Honest, Clean and Comfortable- a true local experience

Our host was a delight, and allowed us to do some laundry in their home. I had assumed a 2 bedroom place would have one, so was delighted that we could work something out! The property was spacious, simple, but comfortable. We wanted a true 'local' experience, and this fit the bill. The kitchen was sparse but adequate for simple meals. The bedrooms large and clean. Simple, honest, clean, safe. A good find.

We were cold on the first night, so pinched blankets from room 2. Just as well we were one couple. The kitchen is very basic, but our experience and expectation was not to be fancy. A small car is advisable as the roads are narrow and windy. Not a negative - just FYI incase others need to ne aware.

Very good

Position of the Apartment was very nice at the top of one hill in Piamonte. Siting out side in the garden and having relaxing time was the best part of our stay. lounge chairs in the garden were so nice idea and so plenty:) Location of the apartment was very good for hiking.

Kitchen-corner was not well equipped. Electric cook top was so poor it was not easy to cook something. there was no oven. We didn't get satisfactory introduction from host while we were taking keys.

Quiet on the hills

The place itself is very nice,clean and spacious. It offers a nice view and it’s quiet during the night. It’s located just a few minutes far from the town centre.

Because of misunderstanding with booking,we had to deal with the lady who look after the property and the person who manage it. We wasted quite a lot of time and the lady kept asking us to pay a difference which actually wasn’t due. All good in the end but i suggest a bit more communication among them.

Friendly owner, beautiful home surrounded by a beautiful garden. The house is located in midst of vineyard and nature walk tracking route. Short drive to town (6-10mins to nearest supermarket).

Kitchen is relatively small. No oven (though have a microwave grill oven). But the warm nice shower made up for this 😊

Perfect stay just outside Alba

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very friendly and very helpful, going out of their way to help when we left something behind. They also gave us some great tips on places to eat and drink. The apartment was very clean, spacious and quiet with a beautiful outside area and lovely views. We came to visit Barolo, Barbaresco and the city of Alba and the apartment was perfectly located for that, with everything within a short drive. Highly recommended!

The appartment was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location is fabulous with a beautiful yard and patio. It is located on a walking/biking route as well.

There is no oven in the kitchenette so, it would have been nice to have a bbq to cook for our family.

A short but pleasant visit to the Piedmont country.

The house was located on a isolated hill near Alba. We had a pleasant walk the morning upon wake up. The view on the Piedmont landscape was fabulous and refreshing. The wineyard, the mist and the countryside Italy was in perfect harmony. The house is located closely to Alba, which is the central town for the surrounding wine producing regions.

Nothing, it much exceeded our expectation. Especially considering the fact that we booked the place the night before!

Fabulous

Not far from Alba (10min drive), a great view over the hill, very quiet surroundings. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Would have stayed more nights if we weren’t passing by Alba.

Prachtig omgeving met uitzicht op de heuvels en bergen. Groot tuin / terras. Vriendelijke gastheer / vrouw die achter het huis wonen Huis is ruim met 2 grote slaapkamers en ruime badkamer. Ook ruime woonkamer

Keuken is eigenlijk aan de vervanging toe Ik miste grote thee mokken Eieren koken op elektrische kookplaat werkte niet omdat het water niet kookte en duurde veel te lang.

Parfait pour visiter les Langhe

Le cadre est magnifique, et pourtant à seulement 10min du centre ville d'Alba. Le jardin et la vue sur les collines sont top ! C'est un excellent pied à terre pour visiter les Langhe. Les hôtes sont charmants et accueillants La cuisine est, certes, petite, mais largement suffisante. Un vrai plaisir.

Tout était très bien. Il manquerait peut-être juste une machine à laver dans le cas où nous souhaiterions rester plus longtemps.

Tolle Wohnung. Gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge.

Die Lage. Für Ausflüge in die Umgebung um Alba ideal. Die Wohnung hat charme und die Pergola echt riesig. Mitten im grünen. Die Vermieter sind nett und zuvorkommend.

Wir hatten nichts zu bemängeln, ausser es könnten ein paar Kleiderbügel mehr sein.

Ottimo punto d'appoggio

L'appartamento fa parte di una bellissima villa nelle colline, circondata da uno splendido parco recintato. L'appartamento è grande, con due camere da letto matrimoniali molto comode e una zona giorno molto confortevole. E' dotato di tutto ciò che serve per il soggiorno (stoviglie varie, pentole, calici) ed è a disposizione anche il microonde ed una macchina del caffè con le capsule. I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili. Noi ci siamo trovati davvero bene! Inoltre è a nemmeno 10 minuti da Alba.

Très satisfait de ce choix

Lieu avec très belle vue sur les vignes, tranquille et très bon accueil dans lieu très reposant et calme à quelques kilomètres d'Alba. Appartement très propre, bien chauffé et assez grand pour 4 avec 2 chambres avec grands lits confortables.
