Lovely accommodation, really good food, great hosts

Everything was perfect! Enrico welcomed us warmly, we drank glasses of wine and chatted, it felt like we had come to visit friends. The room was spacious and beautiful, everything was clean and functional. We had a great evening here, when Enrico cooked us an incredible seven-course dinner (my husband is a chef and he said the dinner was the best of our trip). The breakfast was also really delicious. Thank you so much for everything, we want to come back here❤️

the friendship , the simplicity and the uncompromise quality of the food. I travel the world for work , staying in the most exclusive places but this is my best dinner of all times . I recommend the chefs

Tranquil, lovely place with excellent food

This is a very peaceful and calm place with a large garden for relaxing in. Enrico provides a warm welcome and is a stand-out cook. The room was simple, but comfortable and was great value for money. Be sure to let Enrico know that you'd like to have dinner - it's worth it for super-fresh local dishes.

Exceptional place, very special and familiar atmosphere. The property looks like from a book, historic outside and very inspired, creative decoration inside.

Fantastic location and superb food!

This Agriturismo is in a wonderful location 5 minutes from Alba. The rooms were clean and well appointed, but the best part was Enrico and his wonderful family who prepared a beautiful, delicious, traditional Piedmontese dinner for us. There were about 8 courses, as well as their wonderful Nebbiolo, and all were exceptional! The next morning we enjoyed a spread of breads, focaccia, croissant, yogurt, fruit, eggs, hazelnuts, fresh juice and coffee. Enrico gave us an excellent overview of the region and all of the best towns to visit, along with maps and restaurant recommendations. We can’t thank them enough for their wonderful hospitality!

A great place to stay in Alba.

Enrico, the host, made us feel like we were long lost family. He was warm, kind, helpful, and is an amazing cook, also!! I would highly recommend Cascina Il Convivio to all.

Extraordinary Place!

Wonderful Place to stay. Very clean and beautiful apartment. The owners take care about every need and are very hostile. The breakfast is very good. We recommend to book dinner - this is a dream (local kitchen at its best and even the wine is made by himself - a very good Nebbiolo DOC)

cats and a dog around. But everything was so clean I didn’t had problems even though I am allergic to cats. So literally nothing negative to say - we would come again.

These two are the nicest hosts! They shared their tips for what to see in the region, as well as their prized hiking maps with us. If you stay here, make sure to dine here! Dinners (and breakfast by the way) are delicious, plentiful and home cooked with local ingredients.

Exceptional

The hosts were absolutely amazing. First of all they really took their time to give us advice about what to visit and tips about the best local restaurants, trattorie and osterie. Moreover they genuinely seamd happy to have us: they chatted with us, they prepared every morning a lovely breakfast in the farden and we could even assist the milking of their goats! It is a very nice farmhouse with a big garden and very clean and cozy rooms. Sadly we never tried the dinner there, but the other guests seemed very happy and pleased by their cooking. I can‘t wait to come back!

Un angolo di pace nelle Langhe

La struttura è molto accogliente e pulita, lo staff è amichevole e molto disponibile. Colazione abbondante e con prodotti di qualità,, se scegliete di fermarvi per la cena sarete coccolati da un' ottima cucina. Non posso che consigliare il soggiorno in questa struttura.

Die Lage ist traumhaft ruhig etwas außerhalb von Alba. Das Zimmer war großzügig und charmant eingerichtet. Das gesamte Ensemble aus Gebäuden und Gärten liegt malerisch am Hang. Der Gastgeber Enrico hat uns abends exzellent bekommt und ein bombastischen Frühstück bereitet. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Come a casa!

Tipico casolare ristrutturato in mezzo al verde, molto accogliente e dall’atmosfera famigliare: gli host sono una coppia carinissima! Abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo la colazione, servita direttamente da loro come a casa e con un attenzione agli sprechi molto gradita; pochissima plastica all’interno della struttura. Bravi! Ein wunderbarer Ort um zu Entschleunigen und ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungstouren

Alles... wir wurden sehr freundlich mit zwei Espressi empfangen, obwohl wir noch zu früh dran waren.. Enrico nahm sich sehr viel Zeit um uns alles zu erklären und uns, angepasst an unsere Wünsche und Vorlieben, viele Tipps und Infos rund um die Gegend, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Landschaft und Wein zu geben. Er hatte stets ein offenes Ohr für alle Fragen. Das Zimmer war mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, das Frühstück superlecker. Jeden Tag gab es neue Leckereien. Wann immer möglich sollte man sich das Abendessen nicht entgehen lassen. Es hatte alles ohne Ausnahme sehr, sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir hatten uns bei Enrico und Elisa sehr wohl gefühlt und werden die Gespräche, wann immer wir sie gesehen hatten, vermissen. Cascina il Convivio ist die perfekte Adresse um die Langhe zu erkunden und um zu entschleunigen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Große Empfehlung!

Enrico ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Stets gut gelaunt. Neben dem täglichen Frühstück das er frisch zubereitet und das sehr lecker ist - Kaffee frisch aus der Bialetti! - kann man auch ein Abendessen buchen, das aus vier Vorspeisen und einem Hauptgang besteht. Da hat man ganz schön zu tun, alles wegzubringen. Mit lokaler Weinbegleitung. Die Weine in der Langhe-Region sind sowieso sensationell. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt in dieser Unterkunft.

Die Zimmerwände sind etwas hellhörig.
