Beautiful cottage in an amazing location. If you are looking for peace, quiet, beautiful nature, and breathtaking views of both the sea and the mountains, this is the perfect place to stay. It is also conveniently close to Scopello, with its charming shops and restaurants, as well as the stunning Zingaro Nature Reserve and several beautiful beaches. Two wonderful and very photogenic horses live nearby, and there are plenty of little lizards around, which add even more charm to this unique place. There is plenty of parking space and a large outdoor area to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the cottage felt very welcoming. Upstairs there is a comfortable double bed, while downstairs there are two comfortable single beds (not a bunk bed as shown in the Booking.com photos). Check-in and check-out were both easy and contactless. The owners were extremely helpful, providing clear instructions for arrival and recommending places to visit and restaurants in the area. Hot water is supplied by a boiler, but there was plenty of it—we never ran out, even with four people showering every evening. On the last morning of our stay, there was a temporary power and water outage. However, this can occasionally happen in the Italian countryside, so it was understandable. It is worth keeping some bottled water and a charged power bank just in case. You may occasionally see some ants inside the house, but this is completely normal given the natural surroundings. The owner thoughtfully provided ant repellent in case it was needed. We would gladly return here in the future.

The furnishings could be a little more modern, although updating them might take away some of the cottage’s authentic character. The living room walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and there is no electric kettle. However, these are very minor drawbacks compared with the many advantages of this wonderful place.

Consiglio questa splendida casetta a chiunque abbia voglia di staccare la spina dalla quotidianità e di tornare un po' in contatto con la natura. Mangiare fuori con questa vista meravigliosa, essere immersi in un panorama bellissimo, rilassarsi sull'amaca per godersi tutto questo ed in più poter grigliare e poter passare il tempo ad ammirare i cavalli a due passi, è stata un'esperienza magica. Il tutto senza essere nemmeno isolati in quanto Scopello è raggiungibile a 3 min a piedi, tutti i servizi sono vicini in macchina e si è letteralmente a due passi dalle meraviglie della Riserva dello Zingaro e dalla Tonnara di Scopello. La casa è un po' una tipica casetta di campagna ma c'è tutto il necessario, e persino lavare i piatti con quella vista diventa piacevole :D

Unica pecca prende poco internet e non c'è il wifi, perfetto se potete godervi le vacanze senza distrazioni, un po' più complicato se ogni tanto dovete lavorare :) e non ci sono le zanzariere quindi c'è da fare un po' di attenzione per non avere ospiti indesiderati, ma totalmente gestibile
