Loved this place. Beautiful and grand bed and breakfast. We did not expect the overwhelming beauty of this location. Breakfasts were wonderful. Staff were welcoming and upgraded us because they were not fully booked to a spectacular room (5A) with stunning views of the valley! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Nothing. I doubt we will stay anywhere with better views in our 2 months in Europe.

We had a room with a balcony. Balcony was large, but the room itself was small. Nice views from the balcony for the river and wine terraces. Public areas of the hotel are excellent. Good breakfast
Hotel has no restaurant. Restaurants are available downhill, first ones are 15min by walking

Lovely property overlooking the Duoro river. Breakfast was the best we have had in all of the places we have stayed this trip, fresh juices, selection of cheeses and meats and great bread and cereal options. We loved the house, the games, the complimentary port but especially the cats!

Pretty grounds with gated secure entrance. Walkable to town for restaurants. The terrace was wonderful.
The room was too small. We are two short small people with a few small suitcases that we carried on. There was room for only one suitcase to open and the other had to be on the floor. Not enough space to be comfortable. Also dogs barking in neighborhood for hours and hours into the late night.
