Wonderful location. Close walking distance to the ancient city walls and old city. Right there, actually! Beautiful, clean, well-kept apartment, wide-open views to the balcony facing the ocean! Lovely Mediterranean views!! Sweet touches of "welcome home" by the thoughtful hosts. Dora greeted us warmly and was very available to help with anything we needed. Thank you, Villa Ankora. We would certainly come back and enjoy this lovely place again! It is all breath-taking!

Short stay at Dubrovnik

I had an exceptional stay at Apartments Villa Ankora in Dubrovnik and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with such a warm and friendly welcome from the staff (I wish I remembered the name!). That same hospitality continued right up until checkout, which really made the whole experience feel personal and comfortable. The highlight of this property has to be the spectacular view from the balconies. You get a full panoramic look over Dubrovnik, including the entire Old Town and the shimmering Adriatic Sea. Waking up to that view every morning and watching the city light up in the evening was truly unforgettable. It’s the kind of scenery that makes you stop and just appreciate where you are. The apartment itself was very clean, modern, and fully equipped with everything you might need for a short or long stay. The kitchen had all the essentials, the bed was comfortable, and the space felt well maintained. A fun bonus was discovering that one of the TV channels showed Premier League football, which was perfect for winding down after a day of exploring. Parking is available and free, but I strongly recommend booking your spot with the owner in advance because the spaces are limited. It was very convenient having a secure place to leave the car. Location-wise, it’s great — the Old Town is just a leisurely 10–15 minute walk downhill, making it easy to explore during the day or head out for dinner in the evening. The uphill walk back can be tiring, especially after a long day, but a Bolt ride costs around €8 and gets you back to the apartment in minutes. Overall, Villa Ankora offers a perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and stunning views. The friendly service, clean and well-equipped apartments, and unbeatable scenery made my stay incredibly enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Dubrovnik.

Wonderful apartment, would highly recommend

Fantastic location, mini market and bakery within a 5 minute walk down some steps. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The balcony has a wonderful view of the old town and sea. We stayed for 6 nights and we had fresh towels twice during that time. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable and air conditioning worked very well. The pool was ideal for a dip to cool off after sightseeing. The owners offered recommendations during our stay and we were greeted with complimentary wine and fruit liqueur.

There wasn’t much space around the pool to sit whilst my children were swimming.

Perfect base near the Old Town with good comfort and cleanliness.

I really liked the hotel’s location, which is very close to the Old Town, making it easy to explore the main attractions on foot. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and a good room size. Overall, an excellent location combined with great room cleanliness and comfort.

Nice spacious apartment in good location, great facilities and fantastic balcony with stunning views over the old town. Complimentary wine and brandy was a nice touch. Private parking which was a bonus and hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Location and amenities cannot be beaten!

Our family of 4 very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Ankora. We stayed in a lovely apartment on the second floor with a sea view. Having access to a pool and parking was priceless and very much appreciated. Would definitely stay there again.

The location was great, a short walk to the old town. The room was very clean & spacious. The owners/staff were very helpful and responsive and made our trip really easy.

No real negatives but small details like no bedside light or only being able to turn off the lights via a main switch was not ideal but everything about the property was great

Unforgettable view in Dubrovnik

Absolutely breathtaking view from the balcony of the old Town and to watch the sunset from. Large dining/lounge area and kitchenette with cook top and plenty of cooking utilities. Air conditioning in both main area and bedroom. Shop and great burger/cocktail bar not too far away 5 minutes down the steps. Great location into Old Town, steps and uphill gets the cardio going! Nice pool area to cool off after a warm day exploring.

Beautiful Views from this hilltop Accommodation

Early check-in, Parking, Property Manager/ownera were kind, responsive and let us use their phone to contact the local rental car company, the view of the fortress in Old Town, darkening curtains, air conditioning, shower was lovely, gift of homemade cherry liquer! Cleaning staff was top notch!

Bed (felt the springs) so switched to the sofa bed that had an amazing mattress which we enjoyed on our last night instead of the main bed, the steep climb on hot days (tradeoff for the view)! We knew about the location, so that's on us, we didn't anticipate the heatwave, lots of walking in Dubrovnik! Lack of toiletries for the shower given the price.

Lovely apartment near Old Town.

Lovely property. It is about a 10 walk from Old Town. The host was very nice. The apt was perfect for a family and my daughter said the sofa bed was comfortable. Nice air conditioning and a pool after a hot day walking around. They also offer free parking if you notify them ahead of time.

Friendly staff and the studio was small but nice. View over Dubrovnik. Parking was a bonus as parking in town very difficult.

Being able to walk into town was great but just be sure you don't mind a hike back up the steps if you walk into town.

Great little apartment complex close to old town with all facilities needed for a short stay!

Great location only 10 mins walk to old town but not suitable for people that don’t like steps! Nice little pool for cooling off and a great view from the balcony. Owners gave us a welcome bottle of wine and there were liqueurs in the apartment!

Lovely spacious apartment with beautiful views of the sea. Bottle of red vine and cherry liqueur on arrival. 10 minute walk to old town. Staff were very helpful,who assisted with arranging taxis as needed.

Fantastic host, very comfortable and clean and pretty little apartment. host presented us with a bottle of their family homemade wine to enjoy. very accomadating. shampoo and shower soap were not available in bathroom when we arrived but were provided immediately upon request.

Wonderful short break with young family

Excellent location.. yes there are stairs & inclines, but that is all of Dubrovnik! We managed with two under 2's and a double buggy 😁 A straight walk down takes you to the harbour in about 20 minutes, and about 15 minutes (or less with a buggy!) in to the old town. There's shops for in house supplies on route, a laundrette, small bar/restaurant. A very relaxed and lovely stay at the Villa, staff and welcoming absolutely brilliant and accommodating. Owner arranged airport transfer with a lovely driver, on time and easy drove both ways.

I found out after booking that I wouldn't be able to park my vehicle at the property despite being the first person to arrive because it's an SUV and their parking spots are small. However, I noticed that an SUV the same size as mine was able to park on the property.

Lovely property with a balcony with a fantastic view! Short walk down to the Old Town. Hosts were friendly, room was spacious and clean. We had a parking spot which was very handy. It was a great place and I would definitely recommend.

Very clean and comfortable apartment and friendly staff. Many steps down to the old town which we fully expected and didn’t find too difficult as we have a moderate level of fitness.

The position of the villa is the best. It is on my road when you arrive in Dubrovnik and yet to get to the old town it's just going down the stairs. Our hosts were really nice, and a good thing they have free parking which is really important in Dubrovnik. Unfortunately, there wasn't a balcony in our unit, but the view from the window is amazing.
