Fantastic stay at Villa

Absolutely amazing property. Location is fantastic, staff is super quick and friendly. They have variety in breakfast, everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. Property has a personal pool which is a highlight here. Huge rooms, large and spacious bathrooms. Area was absolutely neat , clean & spotless. Highly recommended. Bike rental , gym, car rental, pharmacies, hospital, many many shops are at a walking distance. I would come back 100% .

Peaceful and Hospitable.

Sumaba runs amazing villas!! We had a wonderful stay due to Sumaba and his staff. They were so friendly and hospitable. The villas are not corporately run, and so the you get the personal care of Sumaba himself (the owner). The villas was clean, stylish, and beautiful. The location is awesome as well. Ubud can be loud and crowded, but this villa is just 1-2 minutes off the main streets, providing quiet and solitude, and at the same time staying in walkability to Ubud. We told him we were coming for our anniversary, so they prepared a special set up for us, provided us with a beautiful floating breakfast, and even gave us a delicious personalized cake. We received massages in the villa as well (2x). We loved our stay so much that after we checked out and went to Ubud for a day to do the beaches, we decided we wanted to go back home to Sumaba's. We contacted him directely, and he graciously allowed us to return until it was time for us to fly out. When we come back to Bali we would definitely return here! Thanks for all the care, attention, and hospitlaity!

Fantastic villa. Peaceful & Private. Own pool. Loved it!

The villa was above our expectations. Spacious & private. Having our own pool was amazing. Staff were very helpful & accommodating. Being 10 minutes out of town was a lot quieter & was easy to get transport in with a $1.50 scooter ride or $5 car AUD. Added benefits: amazing meridian massage/Accupuncture across the road (Nyoman). Great massage on the corner for only $12 AUD - 1hr. Easy to order food in via Gogeck if don't want to go out. We will definitely be staying here again. Thankyou. 🩵

Private and peaceful getaway, surrounded by lush nature

We love this Villa! Great value for the size of place. Large bed, whole dining space, large bathroom and private backyard and pool. The staff are gorgeous and kind, with daily cleaning. The location is quiet, about 20 mins out from Ubud central so an easy drive to the tourist hot spots, but also close by to many local delicious restaurants, cafes and some shops. Best of both worlds.

Lovely sanctuary in Ubud

A lovely, clean, private villa in a very nice area. There is a lovely walk through the rice fields nearby. Breakfast was fantastic. The hosts were extremely kind and thoughtful.

There are some restaurants, shops and cafes nearby but not a huge selection. You will need a motorcycle or Grab to get into the centre or to some of the small villages nearby.

Very comfortable facility in excellent location

Excellent facility, very spacious, with large comfortable bed, fantastic private swimming pool. Very welcoming and helpful staff, excellent location outside the crowded downtown area but close to good restaurants (although you might need a scooter to go around). They welcomed us with a bathtub full of flowers and other various flower arrangements. The kitchen is fully functional and we could cook our dinner a couple of times. Big smart TV in case you are stuck inside during a rainy evening. Scooter rental is just next door. We also enjoyed silence and privacy.

All perfect, just a few details that could be improved like sweeping under the bed to avoid accumulation of dust, the bin in the toilet needs a lid. The area around is quite rural, so if you want to avoid unwanted animals to go inside, you'll need to keep the door closed.

Beautiful quiet private villa

Beautiful private villa with a lovely pool and comfy bed. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Nice quiet location within an easy drive of Ubud Centre. Very clean and tidy and we had a lovely arrival with fresh flowers and rose petals.

Slightly further away from things than we realised although there are still restaurants and cafes within a 10-15 minute walk (not central Ubud) which were high quality.

Great peaceful and relaxing stay

Facilities, location,breakfast and service. All are excellent. Special thanks to sumaba and his staff for making this trip most memorable. Villa was fully decorated when we arrived with lovely flowers with all the love. Quite and Calm but still easily accessible to ubud town center by shuttle or walk or grabtaxi. Loads of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Beautiful, secluded villa. Amazing facilities and staff. 10/10 stay!

The villa was so beautiful and quiet. Everything was very clean and well maintained, the food was amazing and the staff were so incredibly helpful and kind. Sumaba was great and communicating and flexible. We had such a relaxing, enjoyable time here. Would definitely recommend!

The villa is a little bit far from the town centre. This does mean it’s nice and quiet, but you do have to get a taxi in and out - more than easy enough to do though and isn’t more than a couple bucks.

Amazing place

Absolutely loved my stay at Ubud Paradise Villa! The villa is absolutely amazing – even better than the photos. It was spotless, super clean, and beautifully maintained. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape. What truly made the experience special was the staff – they were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. I felt so well taken care of during my entire stay. I genuinely loved everything about this place and would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Beautiful stay

The staff were so friendly and the breakwaa really nice. Fresh bottled water was left every day after cleaning. The bed was so comfortable. I loved watching the birds and geckos around the outside area.

Slight miss communication at the start when we were meant to be picked up but it was a national holiday and had forgotten to message them prior

Highly recommend if you want a peaceful, spacious base in Ubud with excellent service and a personal touch.

We really enjoyed our stay at in Villa 2 at Paradise Villa in April. The villa was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The private pool was a highlight—super clean and perfect for cooling off after a hot afternoon in Ubud. The garden was well cared for and added a peaceful, tropical feel to the whole place. The location was great for us. It’s about 10 minutes from central Ubud, but Grab taxis were easy and affordable (about $7 nz and usually arrived within 5 minutes). It was actually a bonus to be away from the busy centre—returning to the quiet villa after a day in town felt like a retreat. Sumaba and his team were outstanding. They helped us get settled by taking us into town on the first day, arranged laundry, and tried to get us a last-minute massage (we just didn’t book early enough!). They also helped organise a driver for a day trip, which we loved. Communication was excellent throughout—they were responsive and kind, especially over WhatsApp. Breakfast was lovely, and everything the team arranged for us was well priced and convenient. We had no issues during our stay and left feeling relaxed and very well looked after.

Quiet, cosy, beautiful room,

The villa was superb. The bed was very comfortable and the interior was excellent with a high roof and a nice bathtub and shower. We didn't use the tv much. The garden was beautiful and well maintained, the location was peaceful and quiet, and the little pool was a perfect place to relax—though its design could be improved a bit, as we often bumped our knees on the oversized step. Still, everything was spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. There were a few ants and bugs, but that's to be expected in Ubud and didn’t bother us. The staff were lovely—very accommodating and friendly—and the breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and generous. Shops and convenience stores were all within easy walking distance. We also booked a massage at the villa—while it was a little pricey by Ubud standards, it was still enjoyable. To our surprise, we were upgraded to a larger villa, which we were very grateful for! The privacy was great, although one staff member did enter without knocking once, which felt a bit intrusive. Otherwise, service was excellent. We stayed during Nyepi (the Balinese "Day of Silence"), which we hadn’t known about beforehand—when everyone is required to stay indoors. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as we spent the whole day lounging by the pool, soaking up the serenity. Overall, it was an exceptional experience and one of the highlights of our trip. I definitely recommend paying a little more for the larger villa—it's worth it for an unforgettable stay.

Some bugs here and there inside and outside the villa, but nothing to worry about. A little far to walk from the main hub of Ubud, but a short drive away. The toilet seat was also broken on arrival

My best stay in Bali!

Everything is beyond my expectations. The room is spacious, as in the pictures, and I love the surroundings as well. Probably the best property I stayed at Bali so far. The owner is so friendly and even greeted me in person on the day we arrived. You should not look any further, this is the place. Definitely will come back next time.

Only the part that it is a bit far from Ubud center, I have nothing else to complain.

We came to relax and enjoy the luxury of swimming in a private pool. It did not disappoint.

The villas are run by Sumaba and his lovely family. We loved our stay of 7 nights and were sorry we didn't make it a longer trip. The villa was private, clean and very comfortable. The swimming pool was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. We could open our villa sliding door and dive straight in. There is a lovely gazebo next to the pool where we enjoyed our breakfast which was delivered fresh every morning. If we needed something, it was provided quickly. For us, the villas are in the best location, far enough away from the craziness of central Ubud and in an area where we could enjoy some peace and quiet. The villas are situated 2 km north of Ubud central and approx 100 metres up a lane way and away from the main road. It is walking distance to the heart of Ubud and Uber transport is readily available if needed. There is minimal traffic noise and we woke each morning to the sounds of bird song. So peaceful. There are restaurants just a short walk away in each direction or Uber eats is available for delivery to the villa.

Very nice villa in a quiet area away from the busy centre of Ubud. The villa is stunning with a private pool and met every expectaion. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful. Quick responses to questions before arrival and made our stay most enjoyable. Nice breakfast. Would stay there again.

Nothing much. Maybe the lack of resteraunts in easy walking distance is the only negative but there is online food delivery from a nearby resteraunt if needed for dinner. Otherwise a taxi is simple to arrange.

Lovely paradise on Bali

The villa is amazing! we were a bit skeptical when we arrived because the street seems a bit dodgy but nothing to worry about! once you are in is everything you imagine and more. the personnel is super nice and welcoming. Our room was incredibly spacious, the pool is so beautiful and the bathroom had an opened roof shower with a stone bathtub!! The breakfast was excellent, they give you like 5 different options to choose everyday, that include fresh fruits, juice and yummy pastries. They also have the floating breakfast! The owner of the villa is a very accommodating, we had a very early tour to Nusa Penida and he made a takeaway box with our breakfast on that morning. He also recommended an excellent tour guide and personally drove us a couple of times to ubud centre, which is like 10 mins away from the villa by car. Our room was cleaned everyday and we got fresh linen on the third day. The villa had a kitchenette with all the necessary equipment and free mineral water was left in it everyday. We travelled with our baby and they helped us with a very nice cot. We even got a farewell gift! This is the place to stay, i would stay there again without a doubt.

Only thing i missed was a bigger closet as it didn’t have enough space to unpack my bag.

Gorgeous property, exceptional service

Absolutely exceptional property. I cannot recommend this place enough. It's huge and very tastefully furnished. The swimming pool is actually big enough to get some swimming done and is not just a plunge pool. The daily breakfast is brilliant and they even provided us with breakfast boxes on one of the days when we had an early start. The location is super peaceful and is about 15 minutes away from Central ubud. Do not think twice if you are considering this property. I did a lot of research before zeroing in on this and was so glad about it.

The location was great as it was quiet but still within walking distance to shops , massage, restaurants , gyms. (We enjoyed Cloud 9 restaurant which is a 3 min walk and I had massages at Ayu Mesari Massage which is a 2 min walk)(There are also gyms right there , though we did not visit them this time) We stayed in Villa 2. The villa was beautifully presented with fresh flowers everywhere and cleaned daily. The staff were all friendly and helpful and did a wonderful job assisting us. The private pool was a decent size , the bed was comfortable and the villa was spacious and very clean. The villas weren't quite in Ubud , though not far and we appreciated the quiet. Sumaba the host is happy to drop you into Ubud . Sumaba also dropped us off to do the Campuchan ridge walk which is worth doing (Go early before it gets too hot) Sumaba dropped us off at the top of the ridge walk. We walked down and then back to the villa from there in plenty of time for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious you have many options and can choose your delivery time to suit your plans or a sleep in. It is also walking distance to Bintang Supermarket and many restaurants (we also walked back from the markets one day so it really is not that far out of the way). We loved our time here in villa 2 and highly recommend these villas.
